Philadelphia got over 20 inches of snow Friday night and Saturday. Now we are expecting more snow tomorrow and Wednesday (10-18 inches). Of course, a lot of snow from the weekend is still on the ground. This is gonna be interesting. . . . I'm driving into work tomorrow then bringing the company laptop home so I can write from home on Wednesday.
This winter puts me in mind of the snow and ice we got in 1991 I think it was. We got a huge snowfall that year (about 28 inches) too. But I don't recall getting two big snowfalls this close together. Earlier last week we had snow flurries. This is about the area's 7th snowfall of the year and it's early February.
Puts me in mind of the snow we got back home in Dayton, Ohio when I was a kid. I do enjoy the snow. It's absolutely gorgeous! But driving in it . . . that I can do without which is why I hope to be indoors on Wednesday writing away!
