SuperBowl 44 Weekend in New Orleans recently got a little twisted. I heard a news report about former NFL player and Dancing With The Stars runner-up Warren Sapp. He was alledgedly charged with choking his girlfriend because she wouldn't get up and leave a private party once management told them to leave. Supposedly, she was drunk and has a history of lying and being a high drama queen. Sapp was arrested and the authorities are investigation all the allegations.
I hope that this story tuns out NOT to be true. I like him a lot and rooted for him during the Stars competition. For the time being, he is on an unofficial leave of abscence from his network job. And his so-called girlfriend is supposedly recanting her story.
If it is true, all his hardwork to get where he is will be for not. Oy vie!!
