THIS IS WHAT'S BEEN SAID
GRANTS HAVE BEEN CUT FROM THE MED!

2.22.2010

Memphis, Tennessee

Following Governor Phil Bredsen's State Address last month, the Govenor stated that budget cuts for funding Regional Medical Center in Memphis would no longer be granted. Thus leaving it totally osted! This moved into process the question of how the Shelby County Government will assist the hospital in it's financially binding woes? Officials at "The Med" are using the art of asking --if not begging for help. Without the state's funding they fear the hospital will have to close. Officials indicated that lay-offs will occur and in addition, there is fear of conducting the arts of great medical care for thousands of Memphians who use The Med daily for patients and ER procedures. Cut-backs may follow in resulting to job losses is highly proable too. Ideas on how to save The Med may include a Tele-Thon where donations to save The Med are ideas in the works, but without some grants or funding the future looks a bleak if not ailing. Since the funding of facility falls under the Shelby-County Government, Interim Mayor, Joe Ford has left for the most part this little art to be discussed by the new Mayor to be elected in May. However, Ford has applied his petition to take on the position as Shelby County Mayor in the upcoming race.

VET BILL PAID

AND IS GRANTED CLEAN

FOR THE OWNER OF A DOG NAMED BING!

12.21.2010

Memphis, Tennessee

Back in October 2009, an house burglary alarm set off bringing two Memphis Police officers to the home of Anna Bolton. While investigating the property, Anna's two dogs charged at the officers who pulled out their guns shooting them and wounding one of her dogs in the left leg. The pooch survived, but the wounded dog left Anna with over 1,094 dollars in vet bills. She filed a claimed with the city to pay for the vet bills but; was declined with the excuse that the officers violated no procedure in responding to the call or shooting the dogs to protect themselves. This left Ms. Bolton heavy grieved with a financial upset. Bolton, said that it was not her fault that the officers shot her dog, and that she did not want to put the dog away because of it's injury. Totally disappointed in the decision, she was left to pay the vet. However, a telephone call from Memphis City Mayor, A.C. Wharton on Saturday, 02.21.2010 changed all that. The Mayor's call informed her that the city will take on the the responsibility of paying her dog's vet bill and she now is granted a total pay off. Pleased with the Mayor's call Ms. Bolton and her dog, Bing who is healing well, will find the Art of kindness has granted she and her best friend a clean bill of health and wealth.

MYBLOG
LIVING A GRANTED LIFE
Blessings to you!

Having to wake each morning, having our daily bread and going about to and fro. We have all the s f living a granted life. How so far many of us are not in touch with just how granted our daily living is. We in many cases take so much for granted. We hardly pray, worship or serve the Lord during our courses of day to day routines. Leaving God the last of list of things to take up. Therefore, we often take Him for granted. He blesses us with so many things. Just waking and breathing, and then we neglect to view the beauties of all his creations. So many don't ever think to look up into the skies and heavens, we never adore the beauty of his creations and hardly ever recognize his granted beauty in making us and giving us life. Living out our lives he grants, leaving much of his Arts forsaken and never granting him thanks.
