Atlanta, GA. Members of Boys Who D.A.R.E, a literacy program based in Atlanta, GA, are preparing to ask men in their community some very direct questions in hopes of getting some very constructive dialogue established that will help them succeed academically, socially and financially.
On March 20, the group will host "Cutz & Conversationz" at Images of Us barbershop owned by Joe Seymore. The location is 1259 Glenwood Ave. Atlanta, GA 30316.
Comprised of avid readers, Boys Who D.A.R.E has established the topic: "What is the role of the African American male, from a teenage perspective, and what can adult males do to help move the Dream forward?"
Mr. Clyde Anderson, CNN commentator and author, will be the event guest moderator.
Anyone wishing to support the effort by providing resources for books or lunches please contact Boys Who D.A.R.E at 770-309-2130.
