AFTER 86 YEARS TOGETHER, COUPLE, 104 AND 102, GIVES FREE MARRIAGE ADVICE ON VALENTINE’S DAY, Feb. 14, 2010 (402 hits)

Although they said they have no secrets to their long term marriage success, Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher gave free marriage advice on Twitter on Valentine's Day 2010.

Due to their long marriage, Herbert and Zelmyra have been in the news for some time. The Craven County Board of Commissioners recognized and saluted the Fishers on November 21, 2005.

Their marriage success can give hope to other couples with separate bedrooms and to couples in an interfaith marriage. As of February 2010, Zelmyra and Herbert hold the world record of the longest marriage for a living couple.

They are so right about you must be friends. My husband and I are friends first and far most this has eleminated that need to take each other for granted after about 20 or 30 years..He just brought me a bos of truffles. He know that that is one of my treats that I can' t afford to buy ever day just once and a while which makes this always such a plesant surprise when he brings me one...

when he has forgotten all about it I will do a little something for him. It is a lot of fuin,
