TESTIFIED BEFORE CONGRESS ABOUT HOW THEIR SUFFERING AT THE HANDS OF THE INSURANCE COMPANIES.
THE COST OF DOING NOTHING:
1. Every day 14,000 more Americans will lose their Health Insurance.
2. Insurance rates will almost double from $13,000 a year to over $26,000 a year by 2016.
3. Businesses will see their costs double to $885 billion in ten years.
4. Increased insurance premiums will cost us 3.5 million jobs.
5. Family incomes will be reduced by $10,000 by 2030.
6. Every day 51,000 homes will be foreclosed as a result of a family health care crisis.
7. 62% of bankruptcies will continue to be a result of health care bills.
