Are We Forfeiting Generation Next's Future?

J. A. Faulkerson · Thursday, March 18th 2010 at 9:04AM · 1080 views
When will humanity realize that the death of our planet is imminent. If we hope to prolong our existence, we first need to commit our lives to the one true God. Next, we need to get over our petty differences so that this same God can give us the wisdom and intelligence to develop technology that allows us to establish planetary and orbital colonies. Our contemporary lives are being led haphazardly, with very little thought about the kind of world our children's childen will be inheriting.

What do you think?

I look forward to reading your responses.

Jeffery,
Although I see a lot of signs I hope that the "death of our planet" is not imminent. If we look at the history of times there have been occasions where I'm sure someone on the planet thought this was true. When we dropped the atom bomb on Japan I'm sure they thought the world was coming to and end. When volcanoes erupted in Pompie many years ago I'm sure they thought the world was coming to an end. And recently when a tsunami hit Asia and killied millions they probably thought the same thing. But man with all his failings has proven to be resilient and capable of overcoming the worst in himself and in the world atmosphere. But you are right we need to get over our petty differences and soon if our children are going to find a better world to live in. Trust me many folks are concerned about what type of world their children will be inheriting. However, they're not so concerned that they are not willing to continue to antagonize each other to the limits of each others patience. I think our chilldren will have to step up and be more vigilent of their own surroundings such that they are not willing to compromise their principals for pay. We are coming to a time where money can't rule everything. Until the generation comes along that believes this in their heart. We as a people will continue to be in danger of losing our traditions an values.
