Two old school classic television icons passed away.
DANIEL BOONE'S : Fess Parker
March 18, 2010
Fess Parker who played in the televison show Daniel Boone died March 18, 2010 at the ripe age of 85. Many who are from "old- school" will remember the television show with its episodes of Fess Parker portrayal of Daniel Boone --who took on the brave frontier without weapons and promoting honest and clean living. I recalled watching him growing up. Best acting of Daniel Boone I'd ever seen. In many areas you can see re-runs of Daniel Boone on Retro-Television today. Perhaps, we'll see the return of the coon skin caps? Most noticable remembrance for this show is probaby show's song with it's beginning line: Daniel Boone was a man....

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: Peter Graves

Peter Graves popularity soared with his portrayal in the television program Mission Impossible. Often known too as his character Mr. Phelps the actor took on the mission of undercover agents with a different and secret agent appeal. Mr. Phelps became a household name during the 70's. So much so, many associated his fame as Phelps the man of Mission Impossible. Peter Graves died on March 14, 2010 at the age of 83 just days before celebrating his 84th birthday on March 18, 2010. Famous lines from that show include: "Your Mission if you decide to accept it"...and "This tape will self destruct in 60 seconds!"
