TIME FOR QUESTIONS? DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE CHANGES IN THE HEALTH CARE REFORMS?
Confused, but understand some
No I do not understand
Not concerned at all
Yes I understand

The new Health Care Reform has been signed and is in place to make changes that effect milllions, but do you know or understand what they are about? Are you confused over what changes were made and what the cause and effect they'll make? What changes effect you and me?

Hi benzo: Well, don't feel left out there are so many things I don't understand either, I think I would probably understand chess better. I've been trying to keep up, but details of explantations are too tedious! I'm just hoping for the best benefits to those who really need it. Thanks for your reply.

Thanks Clark and Irma-- I feel a bit lost at what has been changed, but there is so much the bill witholds for the uninsured persons. The big fighting of Republics and Democrats voting on the bill has even caused people to start rioting and threats. Especially somewhat among whites protesting the bill. It's not a black and white issue-- though I know that's due in part because of our president's race. Frankly, I think that's what rattling most republicians appearing to make it a race issue. I could be wrong though. If we don't ask questions, I think we're in for another long wait of unraveling bills and changes, then starting all over again. People will have to be patient, politicians will have to unitfy or it's not going to be a fast overnight process. However, seems like our government reps are fighting over who'll rule the house and tending to forget about what needs for health care reforms will be effective to serve the poor, unisured, elderly and low paid workers. I think questions of what matters most will help them are most important. Maybe I'm understanding more than I thought.

what I know about the out come of the HCRB is that it has caused a more active main stream into interest in what is going on in this country and hopefully we will start asking our people we voted into office to answer this for us when they come home...but this will mean we become active in our own concerns about our own community in all of this and not as an "out there political problem /concern and not the "I" as the one these laws are made for in your name. (smile)

do they work for you and yours is the question I think we don't know or care...
