Black scholars speak out against Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan (358 hits)

Dr. Boyce Watkins of Syracuse University and Marc Lamont Hill of Columbia University, along with several other leading African American scholars, have taken a very strong stance against President Obama's most recent Supreme Court nominee, Elena Kagan. In articles written on various sites across the Internet, the scholars have questioned her track record for refusing to hire African Americans, Native Americans and Latinos during her tenure as Dean of the Harvard Law School. They also cite her poor hiring record as Solicitor General, where she hired no under-represented minorities during her time in the post. Read more here:

I can see the Fox cable news network giving them more air time than they have been giving to speak against our president...

...( FOTHLMAO) ...

oh and while I am at it Fox now has a Black female doing anchor now on week ends...this is just great, because the best that the Black community could do so far was to get a Black male co-anchor on teh week ends. (smile)

thanks George

My respect for poeple like this is they have not enough learning to be able to answer questions about their own behaviors of why are there no Blacks on Fox saying anything positive about a whole race of peoples with dark skins...even down to themselves who are only there to farther prove that Blacks can not have any thig positive / constructive added before or after the word BLACK...

So do I place any confort or legatimacy on what they have to say...not as long as it is only one sided m and based on skin color, personal biased and not able to be supported by facts...N-O! (smile)
