"The grass is always greener on the other side." Well..that quote has many anti-cousins quotes too! One of them says; "Don't let the green grass fool you." There's another that says; "Looks can be deceiving." I often talk with my own son about looking on the other side of things. There are situations when it can be better if he'll seek where the grass is greener without a lot at stake... you have to have some idea of what's on the other side of the ground and if it is a safe color of green. For instance, changes for opportunities and growth can lay in waiting that are prosperous and good. Then, there are grasses that are green that lay to soak up all your essence of living. These grounds can be glamourous and eye appealing. Grounds of grasses like those mentioned can be covered with lots of risks and dangerous turf-- grasses which can soak and choak up your very life.

"The grass is always greener on the other side" by all means up front --I think is meant to be helpful. By which perhaps someone has lost all hope and feel there is no where to go. You give them a thought that there is another side that's not all at is at loss. They'll have a chance of things getting better with endurance and patience in making it to greener pastures. The quote has many attributes pro and con. Development of choices must be considered, and that'll fall into determining wise selections with experience and having to attaining responsible knowlege.
Careful now, for the green grass can look so good that the calling can be all deceiving. This quote is a tricky one. Another kindred quote sounds much like this;
" Everything that feels, looks or sounds good to you isn't always good for you."
"Is the grass always greener on the other side? That surely may not always be so."
