ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
You are my neighbor!
What special bonding one can make just doing what is true? One who is true to his neighbor will speak truth with no lies or deceit. One will show he, or she is a good neighbor when he or she does not steal his neighbor’s possessions. A display of a trusty neighbor will hold in his heart no evil, no false promises. Loving neighbors get along in harmony with goodwill. Peace, joy calmness what a beautiful picture of serenity when you’re a good neighbor. Always be aware of these assets of showing love. Love of God’s word enriches us. We want to remain in love for our neighbors. This is an excellent life to share, because you are my neighbor.
These are the things you shall do:
Speak each man the truth to his neighbor;
Give judgment in your own gates for
Truth, justice, and peace.
Let none of you think evil in your heart
Against your neighbor,
And do not love a false oath
‘For all these things that I hate.’
Says the Lord.
[Zechariah 8: 16-17]
