I was blessed on yesterday to hear the upcoming release of Prophetess Bynum's latest song, "Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh)." I also listened to her in-depth interview on Heaven600/Heaven600.com and it was both moving and inspiring.
First, she discussed briefly the sudden death of her father just three days after her divorce was final. She briefly discussed how he held her up during the news flury surrounding her domestic violence situation, etc., etc., etc. Then her mother suffered a stroke and was left with dementia-like symptoms afterwards and could not travel with her anymore. In short, she had to walk by faith to overcome those trials and her latest cd, which is really a two-part project, reflects her soul cry, healing, and deliverance. It was an astounding interview with much encouragement for any believer.
Today, I happened to read an article on Black Voices about her release and I began reading some of the comments people posted. I was just aghast at all the negative comments accusing Prophetess Bynum of being a phoney, deserving of her marriage situation for chasing after her husband, etc., etc. etc.
WOW! I am just ashamed at the negative comments! I want to scream, but I decided to just make a comment myself which is something I never, ever do. Here is my comment for whatever it will be worth and I have no intentions of following any threads on it, but Spirit led me to speak. amen? Amen!
I listened to "Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh)" and Prophetess Bynum on Heaven600 on Wednesday morning. I am a fan of Prophetess Bynum and I was moved deeply and spiritually at both her conversation and the song.
If you have ever experienced a major trial in your life, and if you are a strong believer/spiritual, you will have a greater understanding of God moving in Prophetess Bynum's anointed life.
If you truly can witness the love of God, you will know clearly this woman is both anointed and chosen by God. However, if you are young in Christ and do not understand the five-fold ministry and ascension gifts, then you will indeed find it in your hearts to be so critical of one of God's anointed.
Where is your fear of God who cautions not to touch his anointed ones. (Ecc 5:7 NIV). How can anyone who professes to love God not have a forgiving spirit for whatever you feel Prophetess Bynum's offense was to you? (Col. 3:13 NIV).
Understand that we are all sinners in the sight of God. Whether we physically assault our spouse, fail as a wife, disrespect our parents as unruly teens, fornicate, curse, etc., etc., etc. If you have ever experienced a death of a loved one suddenly or perhaps felt so overwhelmed with life's blows, you will appreciate the soul cry. It is the deep, deep hurt that has to be released from the soul in order for the healing to take place. What man has never experienced this? If you haven't, keep living. Then, and only then, will you understand the healing from God and if He anoints you to minister to others in some way (song, writing, painting, preaching, ushering, nurse, etc.), you will be able to deliver another person who is suffering by your anointed gifts.
In God's eyes, no sin is greater than another, but He is firm about His greatest commandment: Love thy Neighbor as I have loved you for the Spirit God is love. (1 Jn. 4:16 NIV).
There was a time that I would have judged the carnal man myself, so I already forgive those who are young in Christ, if they even know Him at all. Through my spiritual maturity, I have come to understand that it is mandatory to be obedient to the teachings of the Lord so that we do not judge others. (Dt 6:3 NIV). We pray for them and if a person does not impart the love of God on us, we impart it on them. amen? Amen
I encourage every woman and man of God to support Prophetess Bynum by purchasing her "Diary of Juanita Bynum" which includes the track, "Soul Cry (Oh, Oh, Oh) when it is released on June 22, 2010. As an artist, it is important to move (maximize) your sales within seven days of the release date.
Passing the peace and love,
Apostle Agnes B. Levine
