HAPPY HOLIDAY ! Nation of Islam in America (1211 hits)

The Nation of Islam has survived over 80 years in America in proclaim of divine destiny of Black Americans. That was the time the Bible and Holy Quran refer to as the "resurrection of the dead" (mentally dead or ignorant). A flag was given to NOI to represent their right to independence and opportunity to grow a nation. It is July 4, 1930, and Black Americans were given new names and told to put an "X" for the last name signifying the unknown of their real fathers.

Today, over 80 years later, Father Abraham is on the scene to put meaning behind the "nation" in front of the name, Nation of Islam. The creator of the universe, Almighty God Allah did not send a human incarnation, Master Fard Muhammad to raise a messenger and name the resurrection "Nation of Islam" only to end in sunday service rhetoric. But, to move toward a physical, tangible and material piece of land on this earth that they could call their own. My divine mission from God is to represent the Father that Black Americans have never known. To deliver 144,000 Black Americans to land of their own in 5 countries in Africa to establish a model kingdom......a Kingdom of God that will be emulated by the rest of the African Nations.

Being one of the few holidays celebrated by Muslims, let me again say this July 4th, Happy birthday....Nation of Islam

Just think, If America was still under the control of the British you wouldn't be able to make that statement. I'm planning on moving back to the north because that's where the spirit of celebration is. I watched the news all week and heard nothing about where people will gather for the fireworks.

It is an example of the One God working His plan. So now the donkey(CHILDREN OF SLAVES) as mentioned in the Bible....can SPEAK.

I've always heard that each person gets their own meanings from words in the bible. I don't see the answer to my question in that scripture. What is your reply Jamal?

Helen... There is only one Truth to the bible. A person can say anything, but truth is objective reality. God does not raise a Father of a New World to go over what has already been recited for the past 80 years. But, rather to execute an objective. However, if you are serious about wanting to understand: Like Steve mentioned....it was mentioned in Numbers 22: 22 thru 30. The truth of this scripture is that God was talking to a donkey like people. A donkey is considered a stubborn beast of burden. This fits the description of black Americans; a people that was prepared to toil and do the work for the slavemaster(Balaam). Have you ever heard black people say, Yes sir Master, and No sir Master for the past 400 years and even to this day but in slightly differant words. So when the master(Balaam) was directing the donkey to stay on the road...it came across an angel of the Lord. The donkey saw the angel and layed down as if to not do the biddings of the slavemaster any more. This angered Balaam as it angers the white authority of today to hear of the children of slaves speaking about doing something for themselves. It angers white authority much like Balaam was angered when Black people want to be self reliant. So impacting to the donkey, the angel was, that it made the dumb donkey speak. Exactly like black Americans, who were made to speak with wisdom after the teachings of Messenger Elijah Muhammad. The lIfe giving teachings of Messenger Elijah Muhammad was able to make the likes of Malcolm X speak as if he was taught by a harvard professor. So the donkey made to speak by an angel of the Lord is symbolic to children of slaves made to speak with intelligence due to the coming of Master Fard Muhammad and the raising up of Messenger Elijah Muhammad.

Sûrat Al-An’âm
(The Cattle) VI

19. Say (O Mohamed Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allâah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; AlQur’âan has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Can you verily bear witness that besides Allâah there are other âlihah (gods)?" Say "I bear no (such) witness!" Say: "But in truth He (Allâah) is the only one Ilâh (God). And truly I am innocent of what you join in worship with Him."

20. Those to whom We have given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) recognize him (i.e. Muhammad Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã as a Messenger of Allâah, and they also know that there is no Ilâh (God) but Allâah and Islâm is Allâah’s Religion), as they recognize their own sons. Those who have lost (destroyed) themselves will not believe.[1] (Tafsir At-Tabarî).
[1]
a) It is obligatory to have Belief in the Prophet (Mohamed Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã).
Narrated Abu Hurairah ÑÖí Çááå Úäå: Allâah’s Messenger Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã said: "By Allâah in Whose Hand Mohamed’s soul is, there is none from amongst the Jews and the Christians who hears about me and then dies without believing in the Message with which I have been sent ( Monotheism), but he will be from the dwellers of the (Hell) Fire." (Sahih Muslim , the Book of Faith, Vol.1, Hadith No.240).

b) The asking Jibrael, from the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã about Belief, Islâam, Ihsân (perfection) and the knowledge of the Hour (Doomsday), and their explanation given to him by the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã. Then the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã said (to his companions): "Jibrael Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã came to teach you your religion." So the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã regarded all that as a religion. And all that which the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã explained to the delegation of ‘Abdûl-Qais was a part of faith. (See Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.1, Hadîth No.50 and 87) And the Statement of Allâah ÚÒ æÌá : "And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him." (3:85).
Narrated Abu Hurairah ÑÖí Çááå Úäå : One day while the Prophet Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã was sitting in the company of some people, Jibrael Úáíå ÇáÓáÇã came and asked, "What is Faith?" Allâah’s Messenger Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã replied, "Faith is to believe in Allâah, His angels, meeting with Him, His messengers, and to believe in Resurrection."* Then he further asked, "What is Islâam?" Allâah’s Messenger Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã replied, "To worship Allâah Alone and none else, to perform As-Salât (Iqamât-as-Salât), to give the Zakât and to observe Saum during the month of Ramadân,"** then he further asked, "What is Ihsân (perfection)?" Allâah’s Messenger Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã replied, "To worship Allâah ÚÒ æÌá as if you see Him, and if you cannot achieve this state of devotion then you must consider that He is looking at you." Then he further asked, "When will the Hour be established?" Allâah’s Messenger Õáì Çááå Úáíå æÓáã replied, "The answerer has no better knowledge than the questioner. But I will inform you about its portents:

We are so thankful for Allah who came in person of Master Fard Muhammad for raising up the most honorable Elijah Muhammad in fullfillment of holy scripture that He would search the earth looking for the 1 sheep that was lost of the 99. The 1 sheep was the black man and woman of America made slaves by the blue-eyed devil.

deleting little holiday but---no holiday for the Family of Our Father Elijah Muhammad

you denigrate Our Family

I agree with you that for noi 7/4/1930 is significant---
a new paganChristianIdea was initiated in America, the reverse of paganEuropean original division of the Family of Adaam(as)---into separate physical Foolishness.

but then you say, ("Holy Quran refer to as the "resurrection of the dead")"

are you referring to AlQur'aan Kareem, AlHaqq given to Mohamed(as) 1431+ years ago?

If you refer to AlQur'aan Kareem, AlHaqq---please show Some Scholarship with the chapter or verse.

Hello Helen,

Helen the only book of the Bible that has any reference or likeness to the plight of Black Americans is the book of Exodus.

The story of Balaam and the ass (donkey) is entirely about something different. Therefore, the Book of Numbers has nothing to do with Black Americans. Balaam had the power to curse and the King wanted Balaam to cast a curse on the Israelite army. God would let it happen and sent an angel to stop Balaam and the ass saw the angel with his sword. The donkey would not move an inch further. Balaam did not see the angel and gave the donkey hell because the ass refuses to obey the command of Balaam.

Tell me what you think.

Hello Steve,

You said this, “Robert, is this the answer Harry is looking for?
"AlQur’âan has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach."

Do not be stupid! This scripture of one prophet do not die another prophet. Only God guides prophets.

In other words, Prophet Jesus’ scriptures did not guide Prophet Mohammed. Likewise, Prophet Mohammed’s scriptures cannot guide me, Prophet Harry. God guides and inspires prophets.

All that you need to do is listen to the things that I write and use your common sense!

I am Black America’s first genuine prophet. No one can make me a genuine prophet except God.

What say you?

Hello Steve,

You said this, “The part I was referring to Harry was "whomsoever it may reach", thus Islam is not for Arabian only.”

Do not be silly! One race could never have a divine message for another race. What God gives to a specific race is only for that race of people. Do you understand? In other words, since God could give race X the religion of Islam God could also give race Y the religion of LIFE. Am I making any sense with you?

Likewise, since God gave the religion of Judaism to the Jewish people that means Judaism is specifically for the Jewish people. Why is that so difficult t for you people to understand this simple logic?

Consequentially, when it says, “whomsoever it may reach" is meaningless if it is talking about reaching anyone outside of the Arabian people.

What say you?

Harry, you know nothing about the Bible. What interest does we human beings have in a donkey animal talking ? The Bible is filled with metaphors where objects are presented to represent the human nature of a people. God gives us animals on earth to represent the nature found in some human beings. For example, the ostrich is an animal that sticks his head in the ground. It reminds you of some people that feel they do not want to hear or be told "anything". Again, your low IQ hinders you from understanding key points to the Bible

jamal Abraham
Again, ISLAM is a universal religion open to all human beings to practice. Islam made its mark in July 4th 1930 and has survived in America for 80 years. Now we have some middle eastern Muslims coming to America to Tell us Black Americans who have heard of Islam without them for the past 80 years. Black Americans would know almost nothing of Islam had it not been for Messenger Elijah Muhammad and to a lesser extent Nobel Drew Ali. Now, here comes these orthodox muslims that want to discount the Nation of Islam. It is the Nation of Islam in the West which holds much of the truth of the time and what must be done. so Happy Birthday NOI

Harry, race and ancestry are different concepts. As to your question why would Jesus be born an Israelite, well that is because his mother and father were Israelites. This is not a sufficient proof that his message was only for Israelites. If you'd like I can give you a fundamental course in Logic.

If not for the Nation of Islam, black people would still tolerate being called coons, spooks, blackies, n*ggas, negroes and dumb azes. Thanks the the birth of the Nation of Islam, there became real "black power" in the material for the first time. There was discipline, a non-military standing army, schools, buses, mosques, planes, farms and much more. Blacks would not be talking about owning businesses this very day, if not for the Nation of Islam. All the jargon about self reliance came from the Nation of Islam. So a birthday to the Nation of Islam is a big deal.

Most of the notable life of Malcolm X was when he was preaching black nationalism per the Nation of Islam. Christian leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King contributed much for black America in the way of smoothing out "equality" in this country but did nothing for black pride that Nation of Islam gave to black Americans.

I can acknowledge most of my racial/ethnic pride during the times of the Black Power Movement... Although for some a bit radical.... but most importantly Black Pride was the foundation of this movement. With that... I believe that each generation has an era in which they can identify with....

I will agree Jamal.... As I have told Harry... we are a race of people who do not like the use of words such as Negro, Coons, Spicks, Monkeys, or any such derogatory statements... which puts a dark shadow of our race of people.

And to add to what Steve is saying... in my way of life.... Because of my deep racial pride... I do not down grade/hate or dislike an entire race.... simply based on the way they look.... I dislike people that disrespect me....

Jamal are you aware the Dr. King Mentored a group of young black college Students headed by none other than....

Mr. Stokley Carmichael became chairman of SNCC later in 1966, taking over from John Lewis. A few weeks after Carmichael took office, James Meredith was attacked with a shotgun during his solitary "March Against Fear". Carmichael joined Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Floyd McKissick, Cleveland Sellers and others to continue Meredith's march. He was arrested once again during the march and, upon his release, he gave his first "Black Power" speech, using the phrase to urge black pride and socio-economic independence:

Stokely Carmichael is credited with coining the phrase "institutional racism", which is defined as a form of racism that occurs through institutions such as public bodies and corporations, including universities. In the late 1960s Carmichael defined "institutional racism" as "the collective failure of an organization to provide an appropriate and professional service to people because of their color, culture or ethnic origin".

Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson gave a speech celebrating Carmichael's life, stating: "He was one of our generation who was determined to give his life to transforming America and Africa. He was committed to ending racial apartheid in our country. He helped to bring those walls down".
... Dr. King was so involved in our black power movement....
Just a lil known black history note....

Help me here.... you say....((Thanks the the birth of the Nation of Islam, there became real "black power"))

Jamal I am not Muslim.... My Black Pride and Awareness came from black africans of all religious and ethnic affiliations -

This recorded history extens before the organization of NOI...…
We had some very powerful instrumental brothers who focused a lot on the black folks rights…
1925 Randolph organized the Brotherhood of Sleeping Car Porters …during this time major employer of African Americans.
Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) which originated in 1950’s and still very active today..

James Farmer and CORE (Congress of Racial Equality) ... the Movie Mississippi Burning depicts some reference to the young gentlemen who were members of CORE....

Rastafari Movement and Marcus Garvey.... some deemed Garvey as a Prophet

Black Arts Movement established in the mid 60’s …. Still active today… call themselves spiritualists of the Black Power concept

Cynthia, good point and everyone you mentioned had a hand in the plight of black Americans for civil rights. But, with each of these except Marcus Garvey, Black Americans would have been passed off as talented Negroes. It was the Nation of Islam
that drove down the point that Black people were the true descendants of the original man, maker and owner of the earth and master of the universe which was translated in the arts and sciences.

Thanks for the lesson... and some clarity.... So would you agree that Dr. King in fact DID contribute to the efforts of Racial Pride although NOT as vigilantly as the Nation of Islam...????. Your statement at first lead me to believe that you're indicating that Kind did nothing.... ((Christian leaders like Dr. Martin Luther King contributed much for black America in the way of smoothing out "equality" in this country but did ((nothing)) for black pride )) But then as I looked over it again.... I thought maybe you were comparing the two...

Fact is even though Dr. King was highly influenced and studied the teachings on nonviolent protest of Indian leader Gandhi.... Benjamin E. Mays,Langston Hughes and Bayard Rustin, all black civil rights activists ... Dr. King also forged connections to older radical activists.... His "Letter from Birmingham City Jail," which argued that individuals had the moral right and responsibility to disobey unjust laws....this definitely supports.. focus.. and expresses in PRIDE and HIS Outspoken views against oppression. He strongly opposed the war in Vietnam....

With this being stated... please tell me that you do not believe that King was not a supporter of Black Pride?

Making it so blacks can go to the same restroom as whites or blacks can go to same restaurant as whites is important. This is what is meant by equality, but still we were considered Negroes going to white restaurants.

Providing us with the black pride was a key element of the Nation of Islam. Now, we were black and proud of it when going to the white restaurant, further, wanted to get a restaurant of our own.

uummm interesting.... BUT if you want to compare and contrast King's Vision Change vs. NOI's Position on Change... I can agree with some of what you are saying.....

BUT still King most certainly mentored, and was very much a part of BLACK Unity and Pride.... And those young students whom protested all over the South and we're jailed.... were inspired by Dr. King.... not just for EQUALITY but for RESPECT as black men and women.......
Thanks for the dialogue!!

What you should consider is AlQur'aan, If anything Our Father Elijah Muhammad DID say Study the Book of the Muslims--AlQur'aan

My best Translation of the Meaning of: May Allaah have Mercy on me if I make a mistake.

Sûrat A-Hijr
(The Rocky Tract) XV
In the Name of Allâah,the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

1. Alif-Lâm-Râ. [These letters are one of the miracles of AlQur’âan, and none but Allâah knows their meanings].These are Verses of the Book and a plain Qur’âan.

2. How much would those who disbelieved wish that they had been Muslims [those who have submitted themselves to Allâah’s Will in AlIslâam(Monotheism) - this will be on the Day when they will see the disbelievers going to Jahannam and the Muslims going to Jannaah.

3. Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with falsehood. They will know!

4. And never did We destroy a people but there was a warning.

5. No nation can advance its term, nor delay it.

6. And they say: "Mohamed to whom the Dhikr (AlQur’âan) has been sent down! Truly, you are wrong!

7. "Why do you not bring angels to us if you are of the truthful?"

8. We only send the angels with the truth (for torment), and in that case, the disbelievers will have no excuse!

9. Truly, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr(AlQur’âan) and surely, We will guard it from tampering and falsehood.[1]

10. We sent Messengers before you Mohamed amongst the ancient communities before you.

11. And never did a Messenger come to them and they disputed and mocked him.

12. Thus do We let polytheism and disbelief enter the hearts and minds of the Mujrimûn [criminals, polytheists and pagans -because of their mocking of the Messengers].

13. They would not believe in AlQur’âan; and already the example of Allâah’s punishment of the ancients who disbelieved can be seen.

FOOTNOTE
[1](V.15:9) This Verse is a challenge to Man and everyone is obliged to believe in the miracles of AlQur’âan. It is a clear fact that more than 1430 years have elapsed and not a single word of AlQur’âan has been changed, although the disbelievers tried their utmost to change it in every way, but they failed miserably in their efforts. As it is mentioned in this Verse: "We will guard it." By Allâah! He has guarded it. On the contrary, all the other Books [the Taurât (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel).] have been corrupted in the form of additions or subtractions or alterations in the original text.

So you able to repeat what the Holy Quran says. A 10 year old can do the same thing. What Abraham brings to you is divine wisdom of Allah Himself. It is up-to-date divine wisdom. Not OLD news but modern news. This is not to take light the Holy Quran. It is the best book written of Allah(God) speaking to humanity. When a nation has served out its term and judgement has been placed involving an exodus of people a representative of the people is commanded. In this day in time, a Father of a new Nation on earth has been raised. His name is Jamal Abraham !
