Obviously the sky is up and the ground is down. Water is wet and the sunrays are warm, obviously. But, can blacks see what is happening to America. Obviously, it is good to have money and stealing is a crime. Eating adds weight and fasting takes away pounds from your bottom line, obviously. However, does blacks understand that America is losing her grip on the national debt. Obviously, A job brings needed income and poverty is no fun. Silk is soft and the desert is dry, obviously. Listening to mellow songs is cool and wearing the latest fashions makes blacks feel good, obviously. Eating Ice cream is tasty and driving a fancy car is appealing, obviously. However, Does blacks realize that who provides them their water is in control of them. That the people that makes drinking water available to them is actually in charge. Does information have to be obvious before black Americans can understand ?

Rather that giving black Americans justice, equality and true freedom...white authority gives black people a temporary job and ALLOW us to purchase goods made by white people. Thru white media, blacks are conditioned WHAT to buy. To placate blacks in this country, we are allowed to sweetheart their women and gather at religious houses...knowing that in either scenario blacks remain declawed.
So Yes .....Faith, my dear....I am a child of slaves but know that to break the relationship between white authority and black consumerism.....Blacks need to engage in nation building of their own where what is on their back...they make. The food that goes in their black peoples mouth....they farm it. The merchandise used to substantiate a quality of life....blacks manufacture it. The water that blacks drinks.....blacks channel and control it. Knowing what needs to be done and DOING NOTHING = NOT knowing what must be done.

Blacks realize that speakers carry sound and that a oven gets hot, obviously. In fact, black Americans know to wear a coat in the winter and take it off in the summer, obviously. Even blacks realize to go to work for money and to church or mosque for praise. I have two sons and my mother whom I provide for their basic needs for survival... medical care, food, clothing....
without money we will not exist .... NOW THIS IS THE OBIVIOUS....
I'm in the process of having my home built.... This same America which controls the IRS, Regulates Housing and Businesses and also regulates consumer spending... Is also the same government which licenses by company's business to operate... Regulates the truck drivers to specific federal regulations.. and also state labor regulates how much money this same company must pay me based on wages....
With this..... I have Mother Nature, Global Disasters, and Environmental Problems...
So with all of this how is it that I am not taking care of myself and three other family members.....

We are all witnessing the fall of America. The educational system is falling. The justice system is falling. The medical system is falling. The religious system is falling. Corporate America is falling along with the stock markets. Military intelligence is falling. All of these institutions have become plagued with corruption and are falling apart.
In the Black community, religion has kept us divided as a black people. As each church struggles to get more members than the church down the street, our black children continue to suffer. The Hip-Hop culture has entered the church doors and is taking over. Although Hip-Hop has made a few black millionaires, it does so by degrading black women and by making glamorous the thug life. Videos are being produced which are having a negative affect on our young black youth. Adultery is being downplayed as casual s*x where the tip of the day is not to get caught. As you look deep into the eyes of some of the young black women featured in these videos, it appears that they may be under the influence of some form of illicit drug.
It is up to each and every black male and female in the country to get involved and do their part. Start in you own community. If division is what is destroying the Black community, then it is through unity that we will survive. Let us do something about the problems that we see in the Black community. Start with yourself. Start by asking yourself what you can do to be a better person and example for our black youth. Walk around your neighborhood and get to know your black neighbors. Hold a meeting to talk about the problems facing Blacks in your area. Encourage other blacks in other communities to do the same. Form community coalitions.
If we do not implement higher moral standards for ourselves and our children, we are going to see our children become more and more savage. If as Blacks in America, we do not start building new communities that are self contained, then we are going to fall victim to a system which is coming apart at all seams. We need to show the whole world that Black People in America are the type of people that you want to do business with. Let us take charge of our future.

Steve, laws of probability rejects the notion that black Americans in its entirety will want to exodus. Simply because ambition is a quality in humanity and not a given. More than relocating warm bodies from America to Africa, we plan to relocate black skill sets from America to Africa. Each participant black must deliver a trained ability to the African homeland project thus contributing to a preferred status among black Americans.
History does not support black Americans making good decisions. The Civil War and story of Jim Jones comes to mind. Look at all the blacks that died in the Confederate Army fighting for the slavemaster. I think 1 in 40 is close to a number we will be working with.

Cynthia, But of course..............My divine plan from the One God calls for 5 specific countries in Africa to be targeted for industrial upgrade. These countries have been carefully chosen based on coastline, civility in present government and natural resources. Modernization projects will be implemented in each of these countries in exchange for real estate which black Americans can call home. Much like Hawaii is a state consisting of many islands.......the new black nation in Africa will consists of 5 separate land masses. The countries include Tanzania, Morocco and Egypt including 2 others. Modernization projects include waste water treatment, power distribution, agricultural technology, manufacturing and infra structure improvement. The land awarded to black Americans will be converted to a model nation labeled a kingdom of God and become a template for other African nations to emulate.
Black Americans at present should be engaging in skill training relevant to nation building. They will need to make tough decisions like who in their family will go abroad and who will stay in America. Work assignments will generally last for 3 year terms when the participant may decide whether to remain on assignment or return to America.

OK Faith, lets deal with the facts. How does an engineer learn how to build a power plant ? Answer::::First he goes to school THEN he learns from persons that is building it.
How does an engineer learn how to manufacture a widget. Answer: first he goes to engineering school THEN he learns for a on the job training from a manufacturer.
How does an engineer learn how to construct a waste water treatment facility. Answer: First he goes to engineering school THEN he learns from a city water works department how it is done.
In all instances engineering skills is based partially on engineering school and partially on field application. HOW DO I KNOW...BECAUSE I AM A PRACTICING ENGINEER. Now the truth of this is NOT SO OBVIOUS.

Yet, Elijah was that same poor man that sold Black Americans a drain of nationhood when he said to pool our monies and give it to the Nation of Islam and in turn he, Elijah Muhammad was made rich off of the donations from the savage so-called Negro that Elijah said would steal, kill and destroy just for buck, am I right. Where does that put Elijah in the scheme of things?
Now, think about it. You are a devout follower of Elijah, am I right. Furthermore, was not Elijah immortal? When he got rich off of the so-called savage Negro’s money he began to screw as many young sisters as he could with the help of the corrupt and immoral people he had surrounded him, am I right. Two of those people that that presented his immorality were Malcolm X. and his son W. Deen Muhammad, right.

One could, Steve...but, would have to "change" the frame of reference for our global existence on earth. That gets complicated for the non-science mind. In this blog wanted to keep things relatively simple. a single mother living in low income housing... limited education and working for low wages doing back breaking work that manages to work to put her three children in college and push them to their highest limits..... Is considered a hero to me.... not a failure.
The same for the child of a crack head mother... that functions throughthe week yet stays high on the weekend, but can still instill in her child good morale values and the rules to success and the child achieves it..... will still praise his mother as being his strength, motivator.
It's time to speak up against our people.... there are some successes even in the mist of a storm (it seems).....

At a time of high unemployment, Cynthia, white people are employing more domestic labor for house and elderly care. African Americans out of work for a period of time can earn extra income after desperation sets in.....by doing house cleaning and care for white Americans for money which will only be increasing in the years to come. But, that is Not so Obvious.

The scientific mind of yours have stated and explicitly or implicitly concluded that
1. There are 2 choices of residency ... a. the ghetto OR b the all white suburb
2. Everyone who lives in the ghetto is a savage
3. Thus everyone who lives in the ghetto will steal, kill and destroy just for a buck
4. The ghetto = a gathering of savage black folks. Hmmm... What about Hispanic ghettos? Jewish ghettos? Italian ghettos? Polish ghettos? Green Martian ghettos?

Thats interesting, Faith...you battling logic with a practicing engineer. A recently saw a program on the TV where they were speaking about the growth of the City of Pittsburgh. They (white people) were talking about how the Engineers took Pittsburgh from a wilderness of woods and swamps to a beautiful metropolis filled with bridges, tunnels and enormous architecture. Then the white people on the TV commented how engineers designed and built everything. They commented what engineers was and what engineers do. There was not one black person speaking on this subject. It was on one of those history channels. The white people said that the engineers were the thinkers and problem solvers. They built what was needed. And that without the engineers, the city of Pittsburgh would not exist. I remember them saying that "every" nation needs their engineers because they are the thinking resource
I do not expect you, Faith or any black to understand what these white people were speaking about. Only that these white people were speaking the truth. So almighty God has prepared me for my work of transitioning blacks to Africa since the move to a place 6000 miles away requires the thinking characteristics of an engineer.

Sorry to say, but your constant harping on race is illogical. I say this as a scientist who doesn't have your hangups on race and religion. And practice of deleting. That knowledge includes a basic understanding of vertebrate taxonomy, the history of the idea of "the races of man" in modern biology, and an introduction to the variability of the human genome. This article attempts to present that background, along with a contemporary view of how subspecies are defined in biology.

Historically, there have been biological definitions of races. By the nineteenth century, western biologists separated human beings into various racial classifications under the assumption that there were distinct biological differences between them, similar to the differences between species, or subspecies. In fact, some biologists of that era argued that certain races of human beings were not the same species as other races. More recently, molecular genetic analysis has shown that there do not appear to be measureable genetic differences according to these classic racial groups. However, when populations of people are related, then they do tend to share certain forms of genes and other kinds of genetic markers. Some of these markers are particular sequences of nucleotides in DNA that are different in different people, and inherited by their offspring. These sequences, which include microsatellite DNA, are often so highly variable that they are therefore especially useful for looking for inherited relationships, even though these distinctively variable sequences do not code for proteins, as genes do. Genetic polymorphisms have been used to construct theoretical family trees of man, and to plot historical migrations according to where populations with shared polymorphisms appear. However useful these genetic markers are, they have not revealed the kinds of qualitative differences that were once assumed to be inherent features of human races, tribes, and ethnic groups by eugeneticists, sociologists and sociobiological theorists of the past.

Scientific brouhaha is being used because the little guy assumes he is the only Black Scientist.
I was a system engineer major as my choice of discipline at the Univ of Ill back in the late 70's. I found it rather lacking in challenge. So I chose Quantitative Methods instead. And that, my little bitty brother, is indeed a science which requires that one have a null hypothesis; construct an alternative hypothesis; collect unbiased data; use the 'correct' statistical methodology without uhhh bias, and come up with a conclusion while reporting and summarizing the outliers' outcome as well.
Now the blathering going on from you is as such:
1. Blacks are stupid and they only can see the obvious
2. You are the necessary scientific ingredient to this recipe to success since you are a so-called trained engineer
3. Implied conclusion you make: White people are smarter than Black people
4. Black people are savages and slavery is the cause of that
5. You are the only scientific mind engaged in this asinine discussion/diatribe of
yours
Then you go on to write this funny piece of scattalogical spewings below:
"Then the white people on the TV commented how engineers designed and built everything. They commented what engineers was and what engineers do. There was not one black person speaking on this subject. "
May I use my scientific mind to draw a conclusion and you tell me whether I'm just too dumb to get such simplistic dribblings right.
1. You highly value what you hear on television especially if it comes from a white person (now I see why you live in an white suburb. May I draw that conclusion?)
2. You assume that ONLY white engineers contributed to this project because you only see the uhhh white 'bosses' (the ones you work for! LOL) used as talking heads in the 'scientific' piece
You then go on to write:
"I do not expect you, Faith or any black to understand what these white people were speaking about. Only that these white people were speaking the truth. "
So, I BELIEVE you are saying that only White people are scientific thinkers with one exception ... litty bitty YOU. LOL!
And all other Black people are just plain too simple, ignorant, and uneducated to grasp whatever it is you are going on about.
I am laughing so hard, that it continues to be funny ... on and on and on ... like that energizer bunny.
But as I've said before "Gon' boy! Git on Gon'!" And when you be finished, ping me, dude so I can bask in the wonderfully Glorious work that the Lord has called upon you to do. So stop talking! Stop writing! Git on Gon, boy!

Faith, not once on the history channel did they mention the need for IT specialist. That came after the engineers had designed and built the computers. IT is a fad. Try to find a job today as an IT specialist. When my computer is not working the way it should...I ask the IT specialist to fix it. So, I can understand your envy of engineers. Why not go back to school and get a real science degree then talk. IT specialist are about a dime a dozen today.

Steve, think of it as in speed reading....you open a book to read. Now turn the page. It starts with one line of words at a time. Scanning it from left to right across the page. After you pick it up in speed, you switch to 2 lines of words you read across the page. Then that turns to a paragraph at a time until to scan one page at a time then turn a page. Figure a lot of 32-bit processing will change to 64-bit processing and in a few years 128-bit processing will become prevalent. A scientist today working on 32-bit process systems will be obsolete. That may NOT be so OBVIOUS.

Never once did I explicitly or implicitly communicate any type of envy re: engineers. I do have a real Masters of Science in Management Information Systems along with a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Methods.
So not sure why I would want to envy Engineers. Besides, mr. little one, there are soooo many engineering disciplines. But of course, the one you are supposedly well-versed in is the ONLY real science. LOL!
In terms of the little Red Hen, who the heck cares? This is the real world. So when you are finished building my penthouse, I will be on a plane faster than you can bat an eye to occupy my new residence.

And Jamal, scientists are still working on 32-bit processors. Shucks! I'm working in the 64 bit world. And that is oh SO OBVIOUS!
I remember the days of Assembler language. That was fun. Then I dabbled in creating dynamic calculations for bridge construction using Pascal. Fortran is spaghetti code. I prefer backend development with web technology and hacking into man-made systems to prove to your boss that his system sucks, little man!

Jamal, 32 bits are just fine. You only need to know how to apply them. I started out in 1978 with a 6502 processor, 1K (yes kilobytes) of RAM, a hex keyboard and 2 digit hex display with which I could enter and see 8 bit machine codes. I breadboarded another K of RAM to double my capacity. It is only as slave to Microsoft that you need all that wasted power for.

My first computer was a Timex Sinclair ZX back in late 1970's.
My monitor was a black and white television with rabbit ears antennaes.
My media was a cassette tape use in a tape recorder.
I programmed using 'Basic'.
Then I purchase a 'Trash 80p' (TRS 80p from Radio Shack). It was what they called a portable. It was so heavy, I called it a luggable. LOL!
Remember 300baud modems? How fun!

We used the DEC PDP-11 while I was at Timken Steel as senior process engineer about 5 years ago. in the Ladle Refiner Processing area. But, again, this is slow at 16 bit words. The average today is 32 bit words.

Cynthia, Microsoft is the only dinosaur. I use a 9" Dell netbook that has a 16GB SSD (solid state drive, no moving parts), 1 GB RAM, and an Atom processor. I haven't paid one red cent for any of the software on it. I run the latest version of Ubuntu Linux, 10.04, http://www.ubuntu.com This is free Open Source Software. Every application I have needed has been available as free software, released under various licenses. Though they are not all Open Source, the are all freely distributable.
I recently worked with my dad (who is a programmer from waaay back, first generation, to update his stock market analysis program. He had a stroke 2 years ago and can't do it himself anymore. Well I found out he used Pascal, and Delphi (a visual development for Pascal. First thing I did was went on the web and found FreePascal and Lazarus, a free version of Delphi.
Yes, I remember the PDP-11. I worked at DEC from '83-'85. We developed the first T1 switched data interface. It was between the VAX and Northern Telecom SL-1 PBX.
