Jehovah Witnesses provide black Americans no real sense of pride. Blacks are lost in the interracial approach to their belief in the Bible as the Word of God. So naive and gullible, they derive from its 66 books a literal meaning. What is commonly called the New Testament they refer to as the Christian Greek Scriptures, and the Old Testament they call the Hebrew Scriptures. Their understanding is so far off, they have no single country on earth that have adopted the jehovah witness religion. The witnesses act as though they are beyond race or color. Figuring to ignoring race relations the best way to deal with it is why no single country want to have anything to do with it. Though there are Jehovah witnesses in differant parts of the world, they have no nation to give account. They love to criticize other nations since they have nothing. They speak about the Kingdom of God in the sky or who knows where. One thing we DO know is that the Jehovah Witness have no government or established territory to take account making them one of the most irresponsible religions in the world. So they convene at the nice brick Kingdom Hall. And that is as far as it goes. If they did not knock on our doors at home, who would know that they exist ? When was the last community activity put on by the Jehovah Witnesses ? Look at what the Jehovah Witness faith did to Michael Jackson, the pop star. It made him totally confused.....one of his songs summed it up......neither Black or White.
That Jehovah Witness sadly made Michael Jackson in his final days a joke...in fact he looked like the Joker of Batman. A people needs definition. Man starves for definition. But the Jehovah Witness tends to ignore race and deal with the hypothetical.....an unmaterialistic kingdom beyond the beyond.....HOGWASH

Hello Jamal,
I commented on the Jehovah witnesses and compared them to Black Americans Muslims. It seems that the truth of what I said was so sharp that it cut at your very heart you had to delete my comment.
In other words, I had recognized the point that you were making about the Jehovah witnesses not having any definition and it was such a good point that the Black Muslims could be compared to the Jehovah witnesses as well. You happened to focus in on the Black Muslims rather than to appreciate my agreeing with you concerning the Jehovah witnesses because you are a so-called wannabe Arabian Muslim. Have I explained it well?
I am not going to fight with your ignorance and stupidity.

Clark....taking a look at the individual elements found in the black community. One element to a lessor degree is the Jehovah Witness that needs to be rung out. Here you are an adult black man and have had little to no interaction with Jehovah Witness. Yet, surely you have seen their nice Kingdom Hall buildings.
Little Abraham leaves no rock unturned and this is just one facet of the black community that needs to be addressed for their irrelevancy. The point is that any group can cook up a story, but where is there a physical testimony to the teachings. Forget about two(2) ..try to name one(1) nation on planet earth that is Jehovah Witness.....THERE ARE NONE.
Why now....it is on the heal of Michael Jackson's death. Now that that the pop star has been gone for a while, we can look at the influences that contributed to his adnormal behavior.....his jehovah witness backgrouund is one of them.

As-Salaam Alaikum Brother Jamal:
This is an interesting blog and i must admit there is some validity to this. However, have you ever read any of the Watchtower published by the Jehovah Witnesses? Inside you will find teachings that are very similar to some teachings of the NOI. I remember when I was a college student taking a philosophy course and I was becoming more open minded. I read the Watchtower pamphlet and noticed something that was peculiar. The Jehovah's Witness doctrine teaches the same prophetic ideology as the NOI regarding the Fall of America. Message to the Black Man, The Fall of America, also the Watchtower state that the Fall of America began in the year 1914.
This peaked my interest even more because I had asked myself now why would the Jehovah's Witness be saying the same thing. How could they have the "Supreme Wisdom" from Elijah Muhammad's teachings. I mean why 1914? So I came across this info again but this time in Dr. Malachi York's books called "The Book of the Lamb" which my father owned. Dr. York was the first to reveal this connection between the NOI and the Jehovah's Witnesses when the Lamb book was 1st released in the 80's. When I first read it it seemed far fetched but made sense.
The book states that Master Fard Muhammad (NOI founder) had several aliases, one of them was Wallace Douglas Ford. Notice the last name Ford is the same name as Joseph Rutherford, & also Henry Ford (Ford Auto). Both these men lived in Detroit and met Fard there. The book also states that the U.S. Government believed that there were secret communist groups in the U.S to secretly spread doctrine that would bring down America, hence - the Fall of America. Anything that was "anti American" THE U.S government was very paranoid about communist organizations at that time and the FBI investigated any and everyone, especially foreigners.
Dr. York also wrote that Fard Muhammad was a secret agent apart of that communist ideology and that's why you have similarities within the teachings of THE NOI and the Jehovah's Witnesses. Both taught the Fall of America or "The End of The Devil's Rule 1914" The U.S. Government did not like Joseph Rutherford, and he was investigated just like Fard Muhammad.

They are and they are not ones for drama either...actually there's a family who lived right across the street from where I live. They are some of the nicest people you can ever meet. I couldn't believe how well mannered the children were...when you ask them something they address you as "Yes ma'am and No ma'am" even though we're close in age. They keep their surroundings clean and I can tolerate that because the neighbors who lived in the house previously were slobs with a capital S...they would wait until the grass got as tall as I am before they decide to cut it...

It was Islam that brought monotheism to the continent of Africa and most of Asia. No religion authored Islam, rather, it was given to humanity by Allah (God) as a mercy since we were found desirious of a religion. So God gave us our own nature as our religion. Islam is a natural way of life and speaks to every aspect of existance on earth. But Jehovah witnesses live in their own little world. They tell each other what each other want to hear. If there were no Jehovah witness, the world would not miss them for one second.

Sis. Siebra...that is very interesting....I had not heard of the connection to Jehovah witness and Nation of Islam. Of course, much of the teachings of Messenger Elijah Muhammad has been stolen by various Americans and twisted to form their own cult. Including yahweh ben yahweh in Florida. But, only the Nation of Islam has taken roots from the coming of master Fard Muhammad.

I think that it is more about making changes by any means necessary. I once lived in an area where the drug dealers felt they had control over the neighborhood. I had to constantly ask them not to hang out on my porch because I had small children then. They would leave and come right back as soon as I went inside. I was praying for a solution to this problem, then one day I say the Jehovah witnesses gathering to walk the neighborhood. I looked around and saw that there were no young thugs to be seen on the block. I then started taking home studies with them. I even went to several of the hall meeting. I was getting some good vibs and I could see their eyes were clearly focused.

So the question is what is preferred; to have drug dealers roaming the neighborhood or Jehovah witnesses roaming the neighborhood. The drug dealers will turn a percentage of those in the neighborhood into addicts.....while the Jehovah Witnesses will turn a percentage of the neighborhood into zombies; repeating the same thing which amounts to nothing. Under these circumstances, better to have the Jehovah witnesses...but IT IS DEBATABLE

Clark....I think information has value. Messenger Elijah Muhammad taught us to eat bean soup and try to eat a good wholesome meal once a day. It started out, only the Muslims ate bean soup, bean pie and bean creme. Today, about 80 years later, white society thru media stresses the important of beans and fasting. Though the white people now are convinced the importants of beans and fasting, it has not changed their conviction of "devil" when comes to classification.
My point, I love information. The differances between Nation of Islam outway the similarities. The NOI provides black children with definition. Who they are, where they came from ....opportunities of where to go. NOI ties blacks to the strongest network in the world...the brotherhood of Islam. Today, I can go to any Muslim country and be treated like royalty. Without definition, black children are unsure, unstable and unclear. Probably one of the greatest thing to be told as a child is that I am the original man; the maker...owner....creme of the planet earth....God of the universe.....That is what NOI informs black children. Black children growing up as Jehovah Witness don't know who they are....which is a travesty. So, no rethinking is necessary.

Education in Nutrition contributes to the fact that legumes are a healthy source of proteins, fiber and essential vitamins.... Jamal... to assume that one religion is superior over another is wrong.... Im sorry, but to say that JW's are uninformed or out of touch is a travesty.... I think that the pure purpose of religion... any religion is to learn and seek spiritual awakeness and gratification. I myself have studied with various religions... and i gather information from all... this includes NOI... my Great Aunt was Muslim. I think that religion is sensitive and because of the various denominations, we all have to be sensitive to what one is taught... whether we agree or not. I was raised Catholic... I don't have a problem with the religion, it was just not for me.

Not trying to cut you off, but I can assume that you have never been to a Kingdom Hall. I have attended the NOI service on Stoney Island in Chicago, where you are not allowed to enter unless you are searched. I can understand their reasoning for this but I can't see myself doing it every week.

Helen...the searching can get old, I feel your pain. It is only done to protect you from the brothers or sisters that might want to come to the NOI service with a concealed weapon. They might here something that they do not like and want to get violent. Searching neutralizes all the guests to levels of management. That way you are safe to hear the life giving teachings of Islam.

Because the J.W. are a spin off of the 7 Day Advantist which is a spin off of the Mormans wo are a spinof of Christianity which is a spin off of Judism all modern day religions have spun off of...when e does this leave________?!? ...
