A popular nightclub in Hickory Hill has been closed temporarily because it has been declared as a public nuisance. County District Attorney says the club endangers the local community and has been tied to drug activity, shootings, underage drinking and other sites of undisclosed behaviors. Since it has be sited for more than once for this type of behavior it is consider a nuisance and has been ordered closed. Since little has been done by club owners to eleviate the problems they will be held accountable and will face possible permnament closure. A hearing is scheduled with club owners on Wednesday, July 21, 2010.

A 30 year old woman was the recent victim in a s*xual assault at a church. The woman sufferers from Asperger's Symdrome. The accussed rapist M. Bronson is accused of assaulting the woman. According to evidence, Bronson met the woman at church and introduced himself during services. Affidavits says that he touched her leg and grazed her bra. Following the woman after service to the ladies bathroom he proceeded to take advantage of the woman, forcing her inapproiately and s*xually assaulting her. Many believe it's not possible and that Bronson is innocent, however he has been charged with aggravated s*xual battery.

An ex-deputy jailer was fully fired as he took the stage in acting in a local film. DeLano Parker was fired in June 2009 for his appearance as the role of a gangster. Parker is presently suing in a wrongful fire in order to pursue his job position again. Parker has eight years of experience as a deputy jailer, but also has a second career as an actor. When his supervisors heard of his acting in the movie as a gang member he was fired. Parker was seen in the movie as saying the following line "You can't be no gangster today, gangster your whole life. You know what I'm saying? I did 15 years in that rap gang and did 18 years as a Vice Lord." Those lines caused controversy for him because it appeared to have troubled clashing with his job as a jailer and led to his firing. Court doucments show however, other deputies in the movie that weren't fired. Since he is totally fired, he is seeking to win his case to be re-hired. "It's totally preposterous, I've never been in a gang" is Parker's new line.

A Memphis Firefighter is facing his second DUI charge for drinking too much firewater! It has been two months in a row that he's been caught on the stage with drinking and driving. D. Gunn has been cited for DUI charges and also in having possession of a loaded gun. Not only was his drinking dangerous he was involved in a 3 car crash accident. Gunn is presently on leave from his job. He's in jeopardy of loss of employment. Sources stated that in each soberity test he couldn't do the dance!
