Our original discussion is of the Edomite. I happen to know exactly what you mean by that. I could care less about discrediting you, beyond exposing your motives regarding the Edomite. This is what some might call a racial epithet.

Irma, this blog is about alphabets only because we were originally talking about Edomites and my use of Hebrew to show that the word Edom is related to Adam was disputed. Robert had first made the connection between the two words in Arabic, and I thought since St. Jake is Hebrew she would appreciate the analysis in Hebrew.
The Edomites were the arch enemies of Israel and the Old Testament says in Malachi that Israel will destroy Edom. The two names refer to the descendants of Jacob and Esau, you will remember were the 2 sons of Isaac.
When St. Jake refers to the Edomites she does so to foster division and strife, rather than unity.
St. Jake is the one who brought up hate crime. I would not put it that way, but it is not what we would call a unifying principle. More like an American version of the Israelis vs. the Palestinians, but without the guns and bombs.

Alphabets are scientifically verifiable, and I used a program to print out the Phoenician alphabet using the Unicode character representation, which is defined to include most of the world's languages, both living and dead.

Me, I am stuck with between the meddle east and China is what got man out of the Dark Ages that were ruled by religion called the the POPE or die...and once that defience was made since they were not able to kill off all who did not believe the the earth was flat and that the earth was not the center of the universe and we could fly all the way up to heaven and come back and tell about it...and even go back into the past and find writtings in different languages with different alphbets on them and can carbin date them...well...we can all find out the truth ...
Sterv, I would not just settle for the net...this is the field that two of our site mambers deal in tis kind of science...so either of you know Dr. Ross he deals in anthropology...this is the field of science that can help you to to be a peace...I say this only because I don't trust the net as it can be bias to only some but not all of the needed infomation...(smile)

Thanks for explaining brother Thumper. I had accepted that the Arabians invented the alphabets, but then the Cherokee Indians had their ow n alphabet which saved a lot of Americans and just a lot of lives during WWII. (smile)
The more we learn the better the need to unify as more alike than different....

Steve my N.D.Buddism is taken from a dead language...it is called Sanscript and has gone from India, to China to Japan...but we now learn it in English or most of it...our prayer book is still in the dead language though. ..
