The Queen's Chair: Just What We Need The Real Housewives of D.C. (413 hits)

Like the Real Housewives of New York, Atlanta, and New Jersey wasn't enough. Now we have to endure the new series, The Real Housewives of DC complete with a Presidential party crasher. Lawd, help me.

I like Desperate Housewives and can't wait to see what Bree, Gabby, Susan and the rest of the gang get into each week. Grown women knocking over tables, yelling, and screaming. If I want to see that I don't need to watch that on TV, I could go to a bar. This and the other Real Housewives series are nothing more than a cheap rip-off of this show.

I, for one, won't be watching. I mean really?

Sister I totally agree with you. American Idol and America's Got Talent seem to be the only decent reality shows out there so far. These shows are fun to watch. I know its the common thing today, but I think people can find better ways to occupy their time than come out with one reality TV show after another. How about showing more doctors, lawyers, etc. people doing something positive?

The problem with shows like Real Housewives and Flavor Of Love is that they show too many women (black women especially) fighting each other (obviously over a guy who doesn't give a damn about either of them) and nothing positive that people can use or take with their families, so I don't watch shows like these very often. These shows are no different than the madness taking place on Maury and Jerry Springer.
