IT IS A SHAME TO LOVE GOD? (161 hits)

Is it?

You know many will want to ridicule you and shame you because you have a great love for God. They attempt to make you shameful and because you love him you are not worthy enough to show love of him openly. It is sad that many who love God have to be scrunitized or shunned. They have hold their heads lowly because men and or women have not a great love for God. If you are in love with your Divine maker is it not what he tells those to love him? That you should love the Lord thy God with all with heart, mind and soul and spirit. If you are one like me then maybe you can relate to this deep love God has for us to share with him. So many have not experienced such a love relationship with God and may not understand that such love is possible to contain. This I tell is very much possible and is not something to be ashamed of. One should not be made ashamed because they are in love with God.

On the other hand you'll find many will flock to hear someone say that they commit immoral sins and they sleep around and do things unworthy against the commandments of God. Many flock to hear someone being slandered and cursing, They will gloat with them and say they are bold to the point of they are appealing. They can say openly they love to lust and they enjoy world pleasures. They can say openly that they HATE you because you are of a different race, creed or religion.. Contrast-- one cannot say openly say they love without the ridicule --or without being subjected to be displace to some kind of shame and disdainment.

We need to love each other more-- and those who love God should not have to feel shameful because they say so openly. We all blog or read here. You have many choices of selection. No one makes anyone stop and read and no one is here that can make you change your opinion. Only you can change your own opinion. You can always use love and if not you can always use respect.

Love and Harmony to you,
MIISRAEL

I agree with the commentary and I have experienced the ridicule myself when I first decided to give "my heart" to the Lord. I'm unsure why people (especially relatives and friends) behave differently when you tell them of your salvation decision. In other religions like Islam, Buddism, Silkism, etc people are expected to practice their religion as well as they are encouraged. Perhaps it's a Western thing where the cultural norms are dictated by whatever feels good philosophy.

Respect for religion is my concern... We all have the right to believe what we want... I was raised Catholic... I respect my Catholic up bringing... I learned much with it... and there were things I didn't like.
I followed numerous religions until I followed my mother's Baptist RELIGION and too there were things I didn't like from it
I've heard many say Religion is man made.... I find that to be very true...

But being spiritual is a whole different meaning..
... I consider myself spiritual.. Taking the words of religion and applying them to a spiritual existance...

THERE IS A SAYING THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE STUCK ON THE WAYS AND DONT WANT TO SEE THE REAL TRUTH, SO THEY DO ALL THAT CAN TO RUN FROM IT ,,,THE BIBLE SAYS NO MAN CAME TO GOD UNLESS THEY ARE DRAWN BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD 1 ALL PEOPLE ARE NOT GOING TO HEAVEN THOSE PEOPLE WILL DIE AND GO TO HELL BASED ON WHAT THEY BELIEVE ,, KICK THE DUST OFF YOUR SHOES AND KEEP IT MOVING ! WHAT I DONT LIKE IS HOW THEY ATTACK YOU /ME FOR TRYING TO TELL THEM THE TRUTH AND MAKE A MOCKERY OUT OF THAT !
