ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD: They...have the same name.. GRACE BE UNTO YOU IN LOVE! Leeches are one of God's creatures. We often think of them as slimy blood sucking things that are horrible and gross. They'll cling to you and idea they thrive on blood and on you as the lifesource throws you into scraping them off you if they're ever apply themselves. The Word of Proverbs also mentions how leeches have only to use you. You might run across human type leeches in your lifetime. They are there to attach themselves to you. They use you for their lifesource, taking you for everything you can give them. They have hands out, they lay about, they trick you into giving them, and then they ask you to give them more. One is somewhat wise to recognize them quickly. Mainly because they want you to give and they rarely give you anything in return.. They are out to take your blood and leave you without anything, lifeless and hopeless. Leeches in life of men have many venues, and they always have two with the same names they want you to give and give! They can be anything and even in many common forms. Alcohol, drugs, s*xual immoralites, greed, tempations are types of related sources which can be associated with lincs to life's leeches. If you are watchful for the signs of leeches you will study to avoid them. They want you to give over to your flesh desires. You will need God to guide your daily path and keeping within doing rightful things. Carefully, you'll be able to avoid a leech and withhold desires that are unclean to the body. The leech has two daughters Give and Give! [Proverbs 30:15] BE ENRICHED. either I am confused, or your writing style has changed morbidly.
a leech is an animal that lives in filthy dark swamps and it preys on the blood, the living force of any other animal that is unfortunate to visit its wet, dark, filthy environment.
I am pretty old, been to a lot of places on the earth, read alot, but I would Never imagine that an enlightened person would draw a Leech.
Is the real sweet MIISRAEL, alright?

Ha! HA!....No Robert, I'm actually fine. I'm using satire...I've not gone morbid!. The blog is a comparision of how morbid things can take over draining your life of righteousness. .Wickedness and unclean thoughts and immoralities that can control the body.
I never draw to drarkness but tell of how to stay away!

Here is a little know fact. Leeches are still used in the practice of medicine. When my wife's hands were blown off by a shotgun blast from her thug of a boyfriend, the hospital used leeches to try and save one of her remaining fingers. I believe it was to try and keep the wound clean. Unfortunately it wasn't enough. And I was the one who had to remove the leeches after they got all filled up with blood, the nurse couldn't handle it. Just to show that even leeches have their use.

@ Steve: I've heard that leeches are used to aid in healing wounds. The feed on the old blood and aid in keeping the wound clean. Wow it's fascinating ...But it does sounds a little bizarre just to imagine these creatures have a bad name actually aid in the medical field.

David, she wasn't my wife when that happened, had only known her a short time, and is now my ex. But we still keep in touch. This happened in 1999, the guy got only 18 years, so we are counting down the years and I am sure of a confrontation when he gets out, Life or death confrontation I expect.
Jake, she naturally wanted prosthetics at first, but has learned to live with her disability on a physical level. But the emotional damage has never healed, as you can imagine, and she lives in constant fear of the day he gets out, though I will do my best.

Steve ...meaning no insult, but this is a awful way to live in that kind of fear! It's almost ironic to my blog contents. How situations can capture us to give of ourselves draining us of joy and the contentment of peace even in the smallest measure. I will pray for your ex and her difficult situation of a so called "leech".

So true, because she was abused from an early age, and that is what eventually led to the situation I described. Abuse is a cycle that's very difficult to break. And those that are abused, especially as children, not only can end up in ever more abusive situations, but can also become abusive themselves. I am ashamed to say that it even caused me to be abusive, and is why I had to make the decision to leave her. It doesn't mean I stopped loving her, just we were doing each other harm.
This is why I get so angry at the Glenn Becks of the world. They are not so much racist as blind. Blind to all but their own little sheltered corner of the world. His theme yesterday was Faith, Hope and Charity. But he doesn't have the least understanding of those words. He doesn't understand how so many in our society are without Faith or Hope, and least of all the true meaning of Charity.
