"Viewing Hard Times With God's Divine Purpose In Mind." (1195 hits)

"D*ear frie*nds, is your life full of difficulties and temptations?
Then be happy, for when the way is rough,
Your patience has a chance to grow.
So let it grow,
Don't try to squirm out of your problems.
For when your patience is finally in full bloom,
Then you will be ready for anything,
Strong in character, full and complete."
What the scriptures are saying here in the book of James 1:2-4
Is to be thankful, even for the troubles,
Because good things can come from them;
There can be a higher purpose-the growth of patience
And of character that's strong, full and complete-
A higher purpose to hard times,
If you choose to believe it."
Is this an unrealistic view? Not really. It comes from
An intimate and personal relationship with God.
Habakkuk 3:17-19 " Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no
grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no
food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle on the stalls, yet I
will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my savior.
The Sovereign Lord is my strength; He makes my feet like the feet of
a deer, He enables me to go on the heights.
I believe our father God provides ways of escape for us when we are in
financial bondage along with discipline to help us not repeat our negative actions.
P=passing
O=over
O=opportunities
R=repeatedly
