ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
There are but few...
SALUTATIONS TO YOU IN JOYFUL LOVE!
Do not be surprised for there are few who still practice the washing of feet. These are rare and in between, but be not amazed if you'll discover someone who does. These few are truly holding in the act of the Word and following the practices of Christ. As Christ left behind his WORD to his disciples to wash each other's feet so that they may be completely clean we who are truly his disciples today are to follow in steps of washing each other's feet.
Now, be not stunned at the thought of bending down over someone's feet you will greeted pleasure or received with appreciation. Most people would find this discourageable and turn away even the thought of and or opportunity to wash the feet of another person and or have their feet washed in the practice of righteousness. Surely, they would wash a family's member-- or a love ones feet, but not the feet of others-- and or strangers in edification of Christ. This you probably will never likely to see at all! It is very rarely done.
What is the WORD teaching true followers and disciples of Christianity about washing feet?
It is written therein that when one washes each other's feet you have become part of Christ and that too Jesus is your Teacher-- and you'll be folllowing his examples of what he teaches you in the obedience of the virture of humility-- and part of becoming his servant. Not only that, you are blessed if follow his examples and do them. Even though all will not wash feet, only those who are his chosen and they are these few are ones who washes feet of others. Do not fret however, because there are many who are called says the Word and few who are chosen. There are but few...
When you see them, you will know their works are blessed by the Lord because they follow his examples and thus they wash feet of others to glorify Him.
Let me tell you this, I do wash feet of others because I am one of the few. Thus the Word enriches me to tell others the good news of Christ. Rare it is as you find are few who still washes feet. Today, your feet are washed for the Enrichments of the Word is upon your feet as you take you journey to edify the kingdom of the God. True believers wear, and walk with feet leading them with the examples of Christ.
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all thing into HIs hands, and
He had come from God and was going to God rose from supper and
laid aside his garments took a towel and girded Himself.
After that, He poured water int a basin and began to wash the
feet of his disciples, and to wipe them with the towel which he was
girded.....
"For I have given you an example that you should do as I have done
for you."
"If you know these things blessed are you who do them."
