Ummm.I doubt that the Tea Party scared us ,but perhaps it should have .I do suspect that too many of us( Tea Party included ) were expecting Obama to produce some new edition of the Proclamation Emancipation .When he did'nt,well , the Teabaggers were'nt impressed . To them , whatever he did ....he was still too black to be in the white house .The rest of us , well our hopes were deflated when we learned that he could'nt walk on water .

I'm afraid for the Tea Partiers because they are not "listening". They want to take their government back by giving back social security, continuing the exporting of jobs to China. They are driven by fear and the Republicans are playing on their fears to keep President Obama from serving a second term. Most of the people expected him to go into office and make things right in a month. That is simply not possible. It was a mess when he took office but he is getting the job done. We have to get out of that instant gratification mode. It's the Whitehouse, not McDonald's!
