Actually, I'm not serious. Authors are wonderful people. When growing up my mother never thought in the least I'd write any book ever! She encouraged me to be a wife and mother like she was and she wanted me to have a husband, with babies! Mother surely meant well. She had no real career of her own and she lived out her life raising a large family. Later, in her latter years of life her outlook changed and she wished she had did something more imaginative.
Many writers if you ask them; were never really considered for certain they'd become authors. Somehow, they find their inner personality talking them into how they have heads and hearts which are filled with writing down thoughts and bringing them to life on pages. They swoon over midnight jotting down on paper and the characters that come them are almost impossible to place aside. Composing the drama, making them in fantasy-- or lifelike they forge at getting a book of story, poems, autobiographies and biographies that are vehement to them.
A writer's passionate dedication usually is pain staking. It never leaves them. Always seeing in perceptions of the different ways to write and express. Call it a dream; or a will of fantasy. Authors become whole when they have accomplished a finished publication. Whether they are amateur or professionals nothing for them is considered meager! It's always an accomplishment to finish. A short poem, or long verse, a short story..it's rarely known that an author's mind is free from thoughts. They dote little to become overwhelmed with fame, but overwhelmed that someone read what they've written.
No, my mother never thought much I'd become an author. She didn't live to see this day, but she did know-- and always said. "There is something very special about you...I just don't know what it is." Mother ...would smile and knod her head.
