What seems impossible can be made possible with the proper utilization of math and science. Sure, there is a time for prayer as we are sure that the miners and families prayed for God's help. The actual "help" was materialized by virtue of achievements in science technology; from the processing of a drill bit strong and large enough to be driven to the required depth beneath the earth's surface. Even the construction of the transport capsule of a design special for the rescue effort.
While trapped the chilean miners did not kill or eat one another but remained a unit in harmony. There belief in each other and that their government would not give up on them was vital. They were not in denial to the value and priority of man's achievement in science technology. Religious hipe did not help the miners; NO...It was the meticulous construct of a rescue system carefully designed and employed that made all the differance.
