Is the Tea Party Stuffing the 'DWTS' Ballot Box for Bristol Palin (210 hits)

Despite Some of the Lowest Marks From Judges, Bristol Palin Has Survived on Viewer Votes on Dancing with the Stars and now she is in the final three. Under big controversey, last night she beat out R&B Star Brand and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
The daughter of political powerhouse Sarah Palin, has consistently landed at the bottom of the leader board, yet still managed to earn a coveted spot in the finals. There's a debate brewing over whether Bristol Palin is being kept alive on "DWTS" by her pluck and charm, or by way of her famous mom's political pull with Republicans and the Tea Party.
Is the Tea Party stuffing the ballot box? "There are people on the political blogs who are saying vote for Bristol as part of your allegiance to the Palin brand," said Matt Roush, senior television critic at TV Guide Magazine.

In an interview with Barbara Walters over the weekend, Sarah Palin addressed the controversy.

"What do we do? Call every Tea Party person? I haven't got the time," Sarah Palin told Walters. "Bristol has the greatest work ethic of any person I know. I knew that she would do well. And when 'Dancing With the Stars' called her and wanted her to be on the show, I said, 'Bristol, you know you're going to open yourself up to criticism just because of your last name. And Bristol said, 'Mom, you know it doesn't matter what I do. They're going to criticize me, so I might as well dance.'"

My personal opinion: Bristol should have been gone a long time ago. Rick danced better than her, Audrinna danced rings around her and even Kurt was better. Now Brandy, that was disheartning to see Bristol knock her out the box. Bristol was clearly no competition for Brandy, so you tell me is this is BOGUS and a SETUP!

Anita, I use to watch DWS each week faithfylly until last year. Last year "I" started to believe that this program had changed too much and it was going on politics and trying to restore past glory and getting people that would cause shock and aah from the public...

this season I would just watch to see if Bristol Palin would survive and to see if more camera work would be given to sahah Palin than her daughter...

last night when I channeled surfed to the program o see what was hapening they wee about to go to a commercial...and were saying whenthey returned they would let it be known who would survive Brandy or Bristol...

I was so upset because what I was believing all of the time about this season's program was coming true...race would play a part in showing how and why Bristol survived which would get this program the media blitz it was after all along...if the right had not had such a great election season this would have never happened...

but, all is good because from tHE American voters at the ballet box to the voters of this program...this is all going to end up being...

SHORT TERM PLEASURE...for...

LONG TERM PAIN... (S-M-I-L-E)

My child, there is one thing I have learned in my long life time and this is when we believe we have moved one step forward...there is a sarah Palin and a Michael Steele ready and willing to join together to start the equality is alive and well in America's wool back over our eyes...

but it is all good because each time this happens much more of us are then willing to realize ...

back to social / political,/economic drawing board. "YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"(smile)
