House Republicans have temporarily blocked legislation to feed school meals to thousands more hungry children. First lady Michelle Obama has lobbied for the bill as part of her "Let's Move" campaign to combat childhood obesity.

What a shame, because Canada (our neighbors to the north) have already begun to initiate similar legislation but regarding the foods that can be served on school grounds to promote healthy eating.
