But there is something odd to me about the concept/language "paying for tax cuts". And how is not taking something from someone reversed into we are giving them something? Isn't it theirs to begin with?

Clark, the tax cuts for the millionaires and billionaires are made out to be a special case. Well if they are already in the highest bracket they are already paying proportionately more right?

Clark, so if we let the tax cuts expire then we won't have to borrow to finance the military. In effect we would have the upper echelon to pay for their own wars of corporate interest. Will this help us?

Irma, my side is with Ron Paul on both fiscal responsibility and foreign policy. The tax cut issue is a red herring. Let's talk about tax loopholes. Yes, there are rich war mongering Democrats too. Should I have voted for Sestak, a 3 star admiral if I am against war?

Irma, at this point I would reelect Obama, just like I voted for Clinton second term (the last time I voted in a Presidential election). Ron Paul will not run 2012 so I won't face that dilemma.

Oh, and the last time I voted for a Republican President was George H. W. Bush, a decision I regretted when the first Iraq war was waged. I was one of the 10,000+ marching in SF, a story that got virtually no coverage and what there was was a lie. They said 1000 protesters, but I was there.

@Steve that questions posed by you is the perfects things of how we are in the shape we are in and will reamin in it...but the beautyof this is now the rich and famous powerful are becoming homeless also...and, many and not your hated Democrats are now prison bound...yes in teh senate as well as the house...that is a promise...
any way...you mentioned paying for wars...theose on your side did not have to borrow any money all they did was find how to borrow money to close bases i America and open tehm out side of this country...and because they set up laws to allow them to get away with not paying fo rit at all...are you following me...

...actually Steve my main problem for the right- wing is they don't seem to have any individuality...if you have heard what one republican has to say, you have heard all of them.as far as the teaparty...they all seem to be colones of Sarah Palin's as being empty up there as to what is going on in the real world and woth the Republican party and they ae going to automatically be against it...or a lot like the right-wing, no sense of individuality or not the exact same mentality...remember the borgs on star trak the next generation...that is what I think they all remind me of the most. AND, WHO KNOWS MAYBE ONE DAY ordinary average folks will be in office in D.C. There for the reasons they have actually contributed someting more tahn a $ sing...things like real every day God (by any name) fearing folksnot people worried bout not having enough money to run for office 4-6 years down the line and spend most of their time raising money for tv ads...but it still looks like we have not hit rock bottom yet to make us change the way we do big business in America without morals or humanity. but only out for a buck.(smile)
and, like you Steve, I do have faith in the future of our beautiful and wonderful country as the best nation going . (smile)

Steve you know my side is with what makes sense to me, not how much money is taken or not taken from lobby...and what I said goes for ron Paul as long as he is human and has human behaviors as in teh need to survive. (smile)
I only meantion sides to you beacuse for what I gather you have no use for anyone in teh domocrat party...me I take them on an individual bases and every not and then I evem check on what is going on and how they voted...by name as states and issuse that I care about...these I do my slef...and sometimes I check into how much money they got during teh voting sessoin and from who or whom...for example I like and respect Ron Paul...I also know how his son is the same person that h is father was before he became a reformed racist...again most of the time I go on past, present behaviors...Rand Paul is the past or our returning back to the future of kkk speeches...and I am so thankful that I speak most of all I say on tis site from direct experiences, from logical proofs and never do I back up what I say by the use of emotions...I am at peace with everyone in D.C. because they all got there one vote at a time and they have a legal as well as a moral right to be there...I just refuse to not be responsiable for my behaviors so I never try to ramain in denial of truth , realit or try to get anyone else to do this...(smile)
as far as tax loop holes why do you think I keep talking about C Street all of teh time and teh IRS and FBI investigation of those many Republicans ...Steve as tis is directly about tax loop holes!!!(smile)

AND, HOW SOON WE FORGET TAHT when these tax cuts came into play we had jobs (union paying jobs with health care benefits) and not deficits as it is the middle-class earners of living wages working pay scales ...because as we also reject that our congress was voting for minimu pary raises not to be raised in tis country and teh unions jobs were going south where there wer no unions and when they started demanding unions and the enviornmentalist began to get laws to protect our enviornment tehse jobs got what...or did anyone get to see China from all of tha tpollution during the Olympics adn tehi was after they had on purpose stopped running many of these plants sending poisoned toys and foods and meds to us in America...
