WHAT'S NEXT FOR ME? I ASKED GOD. (375 hits)

ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
Never will I leave you..

During a recent spiritual prayer and connection talk session with God, I asked God what's next? I've been very patience and waiting seems so...so..so long! Because I was wanting more monetary rewards, ...God was very silent -- I knew his presence was very close and that he heard me asking. Since I hadn't received a direct answer I've continued to go with what talents I have and using every moment of creativity.

Using creative ways I can to stay busy at work in the vineyard of his most charitable occupations. I've become occupied in this work that I find I'm already doing what was next. Stunned! ..I realized this was the very "what's next" I was inquiring of. I have to continue with faith and trust and wearing his virtures. Does your journey in writing and contributions of works have you asking a similar question like...
"God what's next?"

Children of the Lord, do sometimes have questions, but more than ever his children grows stronger when He is guiding our toddler steps.
Soon we'll learn how to walk with; and beside God holding always to his steady hand. He does answer our questions if we are listening.
--MIIS

Here is God's answer from the WORD:

Keep your lives free from the love
of money and be content with what you have,
because God has said:

"Never will I leave you,
never will I forsake you."
So we say with confidence.
"The Lord is my helper, I will not be
afraid. What can man do to me?"
[Hebrews 13:5-6]

BE ENRICHED.

AMAZINGLY TRUE...

Miisrael you're too cute and this blogs reminds me of my little one when he asks me what the answer to the next math problem is without trying to do it first! I do understand that although my example is a little different from your prayer to the "Almighty" as we need to be dependent upon Him for guidance I wanted to show how my little one is depending on me to give him the answer to the math problems. Thanks again for sharing from the Word with scriptures, because I always get blessed!

You know Jen I often write in the simplest form I can. I think it is because I have discovered an innocence of a child. Are we but children under God's direction? Even he calls us children....Glad your are blessed.
See you later JF!

Faith is a good thing Sister Miisrael. I have a major change coming up in a few months, something I don't want to happen but it will regardless. It's been the cause of some depression, but would it be pagan to use the old adage "look on the bright side" or "there is a silver lining in every cloud"? So I since I can't stop it I have decided to make the most of it, whatever that may be. Time will tell.

Faith is a wonderful instrument! We often question why things happen. Often we can't make any sense of any reasoning of the cause or even the effect. Somehow, using old the adages we find keep us going. After all faith is believing strongly in a good outcome even though all seemed to be at it's end. The cycle will pass, I pray you strength and a stronger faith.
I'll be thinking of you in the meantime. Much love.

Good post Sista Misrael. I've been on this quest for a little while now, asking God whats next, and I'm waiting for an answer, even though I know the answer is already there, waiting for my accceptance. I'll continue praying on it everyday and continuing to walk in this path I'm on. I have a feeling I'm almost there and God slowed me down, because I was moving a little to fast, but we shall see. The answer shall become clear. I'm so very sure of that.
@Brotha Steve, hang on and keep to your faith. This change you're about to go through may be God closing one door and opening another. There's no time for depression. That's the devils way of stopping your blessings. Just open that door and step through with faith and conviction, and the rest will be worked out for you. Glad you're going to make the best of it. Trust in your faith.

Hello Anita...I can tell you we always tend to want things right away. So busy we go trying to make them happen just as we'd like too. Patience in the Lord is a virture he reminds of us often. Faith and trust we must keep in waiting because he has it all worked out for us without faulter. We however, cannot see loop holes he knows about. I know God will be aid you, like you said the answer shall come clear. Stay in his trust. He has it al lready for you without fail. Blessings to you.

One thing I know is that friends strengthen faith. I thank you both, and my prayers are with you likewise.
