A Prodigal Voice Finds Knocking Opens Doors (356 hits)

ENRICHMENTS FROM THE WORD:
"We'll return right after these words...."--Ted Williams

Greetings in Love!

Often we hear about the prodigal persona in many stories and journeys of life. When the neighbor, friend, the son or daughter husband or wife all whom somehow winds up to a downfall and hits the rock bottom of hard times. Their stories are endless as they follow journeys that lead them finding the bottom rock. All too much, their journeys often similar.

Recently, I was without doubt so amazed to see the once radio announcer who was just such a story of that journey. He spoke of his entwined life of drugs and alcohol and jobless then led to homelessness. How much are still sufferers of those still wrapped in that lonesome road of rocks. It's possible you may think to yourself, I could never be one of those people. More than likely, they thought the same thing. However, life lessons such as these will cause you to know that when faced with such blight when everything is gone the parable of the prodigal son will enter into mind. This is Ted Williams story as he confessed he sought finally to call upon the Father of Heaven to help him. Truly, it was time for him to return to the divine aid of the Lord. That prodigal voice found God listens and he has been blessed with a new home. Ted discovered that with a gifted voice he returned to doors opened from the Enrichments from the Word.

"And so I say to you,
ask and it will be given to you.
Seek and you will find.; knock and
the door will be opened unto you."
[ Luke: 11:9]

BE ENRICHED.

I don't believe that we should ever look down our noses on people on drugs, alcohol or homeless or whatever their issue is. When we understand that it's only God's grace that keeps us we will remember to stay more humble. Sometimes it takes some of us to hit rock bottom before we decide to look up.
