School district plans to use King Holiday to make up snow day

The president of the Charlotte NAACP is upset about the plan to use the national Martin Luther King, Jr., holiday as a snow make-up day for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.

I totally agree that the school should find another day to make up the snow day(s), but more importantly, "What are the parents (students) saying?" because I don't think that the NAACP should be the main group of people complaining about it.
