IN AN INTERSTATE PILE UP!!

Memphis is known for some of the worst drivers in Tennessee. So yesterday afternoon drivers hit their BRAKes! in a 14 car pile on I-40 Lamar Exchange route. With a little aid from spreading snow and icy roads conditions those drivers were hitting each other and their slamming their brakes. Reported were a line up of that resulted in 14 car crashes! None of the accidents were fatal-- only a few scratches and a little breaking scare. Police and traffic officers had the highway breaking free to flolwing traffic around 8:30 p.m. Memphis received about 2 inches of snow on yesterday…and today MCS were closed because of icy roads and slick city streets. Temperatures were at 20 degrees early morning.

<-----{--What should we do? Voters will face the polls on March 8, 2011 to decide on the hitting Yes or No button to surrender or keep the MCS [Memphis City Schools] Charter. This hit and break controversy has been Stop and Go since December 2010 when the MCS Board decided to surrender the city school’s charter over to the Shelby County School Government. City Council met and decided to proceed with having a special election just so voters can hit and or break what they will for consolidation of the two school districts. The election commission has finally set the March 8th date, but now there’s another hit to see if voters from Shelby County districts will be allowed to vote. Presently, only the city voters are included in the special election. Many parents and voters are becoming a bit confused and don’t fully understand why and if the consolidation is beneficial or harmful to MCS city students.

ST JUDE NURSE ACCUSED OF
HITTING HER DAUGHTER
WITH AN EXTENSION CORD

A notable nurse at who is employed at the St. Jude Children Research Hospital has been arrested and released on charges of child abuse. The nurse has be sighted in the accusation of hitting her 12 year daughter with an extension cord. Local news sources stated that the nurse tied her daughter to a chair and beat her hitting her several times. The nurse, whose name is not disclosed in this story, did not give any public disclosure of the charges of child abuse. Although local reporters visited her home no one answered the door. Reports said that her son who is also 12 reported that he received similar beatings of the same manner by his mother. The children were last known to be in protective custody until further investigations are concluded.
