A class action law-suit has been filed on Friday, January 21, 2011 in federal court in the Central District of California by the Montgomery law firm Beasley, Allen, Crow Methvin, Portis and Miles against the food chain Taco Bell for false ads of their beef tacos. The class action suit states that Taco Bell is using a "seasoned mixture containing water, wheat oaks, soy lecithin, maltodrextrin, anti-dusting agent and a modified corn starch instead of using real ground beef. The meat mixture as it's been labeled by the law firm does not meet the U.S. Department of Agriculture label as "beef" according to the complaint. Facts from samples indicate that the meat has been found as 35% beef. The law firm wants the business is false advertising that the ingredient is all beef. A spokesperson from Taco Bell was reported as stating.."Taco Bell prides itself on serving high quality Mexian inspired food with great value. We are happy that millions of our cutomers we serve every week agree. Taco Bell he said will "vigorously defend the suit."
