African-American athletes may have been blessed with "hops" and "handle"--but here is the little known secret to how clunky earthbound white athletes can compete--great court sense (he knew exactly where his opponent would be standing), great anticipation (he knew exactly how the ball would bounce). And finally--his secret weapon: DUMB LUCK!!!
A freak play occurred in a recent high school basketball game in Maine between Sacopee Valley and A.R. Gould. Sacopee Valley's Tyler Lyle was looking to make an inbound pass under the basket. He tried bounce passing it to a teammate close to the hoop, but the ball deflected off an A.R. Gould player. The ball bounced off the player, flew into the air fell through the basket.
