WINTER 2011
The latest winter breath has covered cities and towns in the U.S. with blankets of snow which is also called the "white stuff". Layers of snow fall stacked up to 22 inches in some towns and cities and in Chicago they had a wallop of 17 inches with expectation of more to come. New Yorkers are feeling the cold blanket too, as snowfall has gained it's record this winter. Where there's no snow? Most the country is coated with snow and cabin fever is spreading to many citizens becoming sick of the crystal white beauty. Roads, schools and businessess are suffering with the blanket and airports have cancelled flights all across the board. Delays and flight cancelllations has travelers sleeping and waiting for the storm to go somewhere else! In the meantime children are taking advantage of the break from school and enjoying every cold covering. There too are the colder temperatures with the snow and record low's are on tv weather maps everywhere.
Memphis weather is cold, no show of snow but there's sunshine and high's up 30 degrees!
Brrrrr....rrr..
For those with sunny skies...I know you're smiling.
Go check out the movie...
Snow Day!
Laugh at that.
