Blacks in America born of slaves should not be content with the crumbs thrown from the caucasian rulers table here in America. The Egytian people seen themselves as a unit...as one people...and they wanted their land back.....the importance elements were "one people" and "land". It almost put tears in my eyes to witness the victory of the Egyptian people. African American should want land of their own and we should see ourselves as a unit people ! www.amazon.com author: jamal abraham 21st Century Vision for Black America

Jamal, as one of the decendant of slave great-great grand parents, I am not content with anyone crumbs. However at the same time I am not about to pack up and leave things I have worked and purchased here in this country. I do agree of what we need is a revolution right here in the US amoung our people . We can start by starting our own businesses/supporting the ones already in business and seeing that our children are educated, even if we have to educate them ourselves. We need to rebuild on the skills our ancestors taught us. They started schools, businesses without any "crumbs" from the man. They depended on each other.

Dorothy, your heart and mind is in the right place so applaud you for that. But, there is no getting water without getting wet. If we can agree we need land, then you look at your options that are possible. We tried getting some cut of this land in America....and it DON'T WORK. Caucasian people control the military which is the truth of it. Other option is land somewhere else. Once you and I can agree on that....we speak reality. Anything else is learning nothing from the past. OK here (1) or where else (2) Here....the white military control army would kill us black Americans unlike the Egyptian army Somewhere else...lets think about it...Mexico ? (no) our cousins but not us; China ? (no) its too crowded; South America maybe Argentina ? (no) too many diseases; Antartica ? (no) its too cold; Quebec ? (no) its too cold; Africa ? (yes) its just right and that is where we came from. Dorothy, can you agree with me ?

Hello to All, I do not think that Black Americans could or have learned anything from the Egyptian. Black Americans do not realizes that what you all are jubilant about could never have happened if the Egyptians were not sovereign people. All though you all say that you believe in God, the truth of the matter is that you believe Black Americans coming into a portion of this continent; for instance, from the borders of North and South Carolina to the Canadian border and from the Mississippi River to the Atlantic Ocean, is doubly impossible. Yet, as Christians you say that you believe the story of Moses, but you cannot believe the same thing could happen to us, Black Americans as well. In addition, what ever our previous leaders had tried before and was not successful is because they were not anointed. Our plight is divine. Therefore, the idea our solution of an ordinary Black American man such as Dr. King and Elijah Muhammad could never have worked because neither one of them was anointed. Am I making any sense? Well! I'm going to tell you all for certain the same thing in essence has already started happening for us. Everything that I say is going to happen. You all know deep down in your souls, hearts and spirit that we must have sovereignty to experience and enjoy the fruits of life, am I right. So, before we think we could understand where the Egyptians are coming from we must first have what they have. The Egyptians have some real estate of this earth that we could call their country on earth, am I right. The world know that Egyptians a sovereign people because they have their own country of Egypt to prove it. Black Americans do not have our own country. So, what can we learn from the Egyptian people? I say again Black Americans can not learn anything from the Egyptians until we begin to desire to become a sovereign people on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Then if our people become dissatisfied with our own government then we could protest as the Egyptians did. Then, black Americans could say they have learned something from the Egyptians protest since Black Americans and Egyptians would be on a level playing field, am I right. However, we are not on the same level as the Egyptian people are. So, if any Blacks say they learned something, they are just psychologically lying to you as well as being insane. Tell me what you think.
