I am watchin On The "Case... with Paula Zahn!! Mr. Ernest Withers... wow .. was he an informant... or was he using the status to earn income to help provide for his family? Some evidence does point to him.... but we all know how FBI records are somewhat tainted! I'd hate to form an opinion without reading more about this man.....

Man, I missed it, but I saw the previews last week. Can't wait to see the previews. I don't care what they print about that man, whether he was working one side or the other. The facts still remain that those pictures and everything he did was in the favor of the demonstrators. He might have been doing what Ive been saying all along, working the system from the inside out. I always hear people talk about we have to separate ourselves, become a nations. Pooh, nobody in power is going to let that happen. There's always got to be a subservient people., but when you learn them like they have learned us for over 400 years, you in turn work that to your advantage.
Soledad O'Brien is on Rev. Al's show every week and talked about this. I was blown away. Can't wait to see the actually show. Should be on you tube today!

Sista Anita.... Rev. Jackson and Mayor Young said if it had not been for Mr. Withers, the news of their struggle would not have been as successful! Mr. Withers took up close and personal photos of all involved in the marches... He took pictures of Tilman the young boy from Chicago who went to Money Mississippi and was mutulated by his captors....
I just feel somewhat dismayed that folks would want to come out and taint the names of people who ((although are human... make mistakes.. not perfect)) risked their lives to inform "us" of what we as a people had to endure!!
I know a few years back, when Dr. Kings CIA tapes were given to Mrs. King... after her death... news reporters and publishers from everywhere wanted to further blemish his name after her death. And they wanted her personal diary.... BUT her SON would not allow it..... Sadly his siblings wanted to take him to court over the documents.
Wherein Ms. Withers (his daughter) wanted to open a museum and share the legacy of her father....
