How is America able to send such profound damage to Libya with such precision ? MATH AND SCIENCE

It is simple..advances in the utilization of math and science. The very thing many of my people are failing in at schools. Even though we are in the most advanced country on earth, African American are by in large distancing themselves away from the very thing that makes America superior to other nations on earth.

Who cares what your religion is when you have an airplane that you manufacture which lifts vertically and takes off. African Americans argue about what tribe you came from and wonder why we so backwards. Who f$cking cares ? America have superior machinery not because of religion but despite it. America has superior automation not because of religion but despite it. America has superior communication not because of democratic or republican but despite it.

The only people that discount the power of America are the fools that build NOTHING. God helps those that first help themselves. African America want to win over all kinds by doing nothing but BELIEVING in God. Life does not work that way, I'm afraid my people. YOU YOURSelf HAS TO DO SOMETHING FIRST.

Hello Jamal,

Your first paragraph about Black American distancing themselves from math and science the very thing that made White America superior to other nations is a tragedy. You feel that Black Americans should buckle down for our own sake and learn these sciences from White America, am I right.

On the other hand, you mention how White America worked hard studying these sciences to become superior. What I interpret from your clumsy thinking is that Black Americans should beg and allow White America to teach us while at the same time you admit that White America by pulling up the strings of their own bootstrap.

It would seem to me that the reason White America is superior is because they depended upon no one else to teach them while you are encouraging us that White America should teach us. White America is superior is because White America is a sovereign nation.

You cannot have it both ways. If you want to be free you cannot depend upon the education of another people. You must first desire to become a sovereign people. At the least, you would have a foundation to become superior.
Furthermore, do not expect someone else to educate you since education is a matter of national security. What White America knows that Black America does not know insures the security of White America. So, why should white America teach Black Americans anything to help ourselves? You thinking are clumsy.

Again, Jamal the first order of business is to desire to become a sovereign people on a fertile portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders and to know why we must be sovereign.

Religion is also very important since it will be by an act of God that will deliver us as it was an act of God that delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt. In addition, neither Islam nor Christianity will be practice by us in our sovereign country because neither one of these religion could deliver us since they are not our religion. Therefore, our faith in God will count a lot.

Tell me what you think.

Harry, it is not my concern who in America teach the math and science to the poor ignorant African Americans...as long as they get taught. The subject material is the major issue and you seem to make light of the issue. Purely an education is not sufficient....That is what blacks in the country is getting know. What they need to learn is math and science then learn how to use it....and apply it...they we as a nation of people will not be considered so dumb.

Harry Watley Thursday, March 24th 2011 at 3:47PM

Hello Jamal,

You do not understand what I am saying. The point I am trying to make is that Black Americans need to be in a position to teach ourselves as White America, France, Germany and Russians are. These ethnicities teach themselves the sciences. They do not depend on another race to teach them, am I right. What you are encouraging is inferiority instead of independence for Black Americans.

Nothing in the condition Black Americans are in is workable except that we become a sovereign nation on a fertile portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders. Then we can tackle the issue of education. Does that make any sense to you?

Tell me what you think.

jamal Abraham Thursday, March 24th 2011 at 4:12PM

Harry, any nation of people or group of people or race of people is INFERIOR to another group or race if they lack the essential basis of math and science education. It is not about genetics or DNA but purely on established priorities. After WWII, the Japanese foreign exchange students poured into the colleges and universities of America to learn the math and sciences. Then they went back to japan to excell in math and science utilization. Again...it is not about who teaches it as long as you learn it.

Harry Watley Thursday, March 24th 2011 at 5:26PM

Hello Jamal,

What you are saying about the Japanese people after WWII, that the Japanese foreign exchange students poured into the colleges and universities of America to learn the math and sciences your implications are not true. You are trying to imply that the Japanese people were a third world country and that is not so. Their war machineries were sophisticated and therefore their math and science were sophisticated as well. Japan ranked with the other powers of the world such as Germany, White America and Russia.

Now, let me ask you this question. If we were a sovereign nation on a fertile portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders today would other people educate our children? If you say yes, then you have not learned anything from Elijah Muhammad. Elijah Muhammad was adamant that Black Americans must educate Black Americans and you are a product of this concept when your education started out in Clara Muhammad's University, am I right.

Jamal, Mr. Elijah Muhammad knew that our sovereignty comes first even though he did the second-best thing and established an early school system for Black children. Elijah's problem was that he did not know how to bring about our sovereignty because he was not anointed. Elijah made it clear that it does matter who educates you. You have not learned anything as a Muslim from following the ways of the Elijah Muhammad.

What say you?

jamal Abraham Thursday, March 24th 2011 at 8:35PM

Harry, why not debate what you know best which is about your religion LIFE. American kicked Japanese AZZes in WWII. They were hit with the "worst" form of destruction man had ever administered on a people. It left Japanese in bad shape not to mention the biological defects. They were allowed to come to America. Japanese are found studying the sciences in the colleges and universities across America. How do I know. Because I sit next to them in class studying engineering. The professors at these American colleges teaching engineering are of differant races. America proved superior to the Japanese because they made the Japanese "surrender". America had won the war due to math and science.

Saint...your research is commendable. Unfortunately, you speak of the historical which gets defeated by the actual every time. Its' like if you had a book on motors and wire, insulation, permanent magnets, copper and steel shafts at home but never used it or used it as an ornament. And your neighbor opened the book and used the same pieces to make a synchronous motor. Key is the utilization of the knowledge. Having the knowledge and not knowing how to use it, counts for not having it at all. The American war machine is the most powerful machine in the "entire" world. The sophistication of controlled devices under American control makes her truly the modern day Babylon. America pays for the top scientist she can find and it is us scientist the makes all the differance between nations backwords or advanced. Imagine, America has war ships where she launches warplanes that sends down missiles that can strike within inches on a good day. So, it is the utilization of math and science that makes America superior. China, Russia and Japan could never win a way with America. The only people that can ever defeat America is the muslim. The muslim has the oil which makes all the differance. High technology needs oil. But, that is another blog.

Jake, I think you are mistaken about the microchip (microprocessor?) but I will check. The first solid-state transistor was invented in the U.S.

Steve Williams Thursday, March 24th 2011 at 10:53PM

A precursor idea to the IC was to create small ceramic squares (wafers), each one containing a single miniaturized component. Components could then be integrated and wired into a bidimensional or tridimensional compact grid. This idea, which looked very promising in 1957, was proposed to the US Army by Jack Kilby, and led to the short-lived Micromodule Program (similar to 1951's Project Tinkertoy).[5] However, as the project was gaining momentum, Kilby came up with a new, revolutionary design: the IC.

Robert Noyce credited Kurt Lehovec of Sprague Electric for the principle of p-n junction isolation caused by the action of a biased p-n junction (the diode) as a key concept behind the IC.[6]
Jack Kilby's original integrated circuit

Jack Kilby recorded his initial ideas concerning the integrated circuit in July 1958 and successfully demonstrated the first working integrated circuit on September 12, 1958.[7] In his patent application of February 6, 1959, Kilby described his new device as “a body of semiconductor material ... wherein all the components of the electronic circuit are completely integrated.” [8] Kilby won the 2000 Nobel Prize in Physics for his part of the invention of the integrated circuit.[9]

Saint...you said....."engineer that has faith in what you were told"

Engineering is not a faith...it is an applied science. Belief does not enter into the equation when it comes to engineering which is why most black folk has NO ENGINEERING DEGREE.

jamal Abraham Thursday, March 24th 2011 at 11:28PM

@Saint.....with all due respect..you are not AN ENGINEER AND YOU DO NOT KNOW ENGINEERING. How do you and I both know...because the money you make is not due to your engineering ability. The money I make....is due to my engineering ability. BOTTOM LINE

jamal Abraham Friday, March 25th 2011 at 12:27AM

A microprocessor chip weighs less than an ounce. Now, what do you think a unskilled person can do with such a thing but look at it. Who'se kidding who

jamal Abraham Friday, March 25th 2011 at 1:14AM

@SAint....that good that you realize who you are and sounds like you keep talented friends around you. Speaks highly of your character. There are differant specialties to electrical engineering; mine has always been "power" and "controls". Power engineers work around voltage classes; high voltage or medium voltage or low voltage. Though I have had job of all classes, have spent most of my time around medium voltage and high voltage. Medium voltage according to IEEE Std 1623-2004 refers Devices rated to medium voltage (1 kV-35 kV). That means 1000 volts - 35000 volts.
The term “Medium Voltage” is operating above 600 volts. Technically speaking, “medium voltage” fuses are those intended for the voltage range from 2,400 to 38,000 VAC."

Then, also power engineers will work with high voltage equipment. This standard covers the rating structure for all high-voltage circuit breakers, which include all voltage ratings above 1000 V AC and comprise both indoor and outdoor types having the preferred ratings as listed in ANSI C37.06-1997. Typical circuit breakers covered by these standards have maximum voltage ratings ranging from 4.76 kV through 800 kV, and continuous current ratings of 600 A, 1200 A, 2000 A, and 3000 A associated with the various maximum voltage ratings. Believe me, when working around this equipment, there are ONLY SKILLED ENGINEERS AND TECHNICIANS WITH SOMETIME CUSTOMERS AND PROJECT MANAGERS AS SPECTATORS.

Jake,

In technology development there are many minds that have input, from many different nations, but the first working solid-state transistor was developed by Bell Labs, the first Integrated Circuit (collection of transistors on a single chip) was developed by Texas Instruments, and the first microprocessor was developed by Intel. Again, this is not to say that these developments occurred independent from the international engineering community, including Babbage's machine. Again, from Wikipedia, and remember, I started working with microprocessors (Motorola 6502), ICs, and transistors in 1978, and my father (who taught me) was in the field from around 1955. But you are correct that the ideas for these devices were conceived by others, prior to actual working implementations. It is an evolution, and no one person or company can claim all the credit.

The Intel 4004 is generally regarded as the first microprocessor,[5][6] and cost thousands of dollars.[7] The first known advertisement for the 4004 is dated November 1971 and appeared in Electronic News.[8]

Oh, and Germany was working on an atomic bomb too, we just beat them to it. However, America's heyday is over. It happens to every nation, throughout all history.

Steve Williams Friday, March 25th 2011 at 2:39AM

Well there are some disadvantages to age too, one being memory glitches. Here are the microprocessors of the time, and you'll see I misstated the manufacturer of the 6502 above.

The 8008 was the precursor to the very successful Intel 8080 (1974), which offered much improved performance over the 8008 and required fewer support chips, Zilog Z80 (1976), and derivative Intel 8-bit processors. The competing Motorola 6800 was released August 1974 and the similar MOS Technology 6502 in 1975 (designed largely by the same people). The 6502 rivaled the Z80 in popularity during the 1980s.

Jamal,

Jamal because Japan lost the war does not indicate that there math and science were not up to par. Germany lost the war as well. However, Germany's math and science far exceeded America's math and science, am I right.

Anyway, let's get back on track that Black Americans being taught by White Americans have some serious psychological ramifications. Black Americans are on the journey of becoming a sovereign people or a nation for the first time. When the children of Israel began their journey of becoming a sovereign people or a nation for the first time after Moses was anointed the Egyptians did not teach the children of Israel math or science or anything for that matter, am I right.

Why do you suppose things happen that way? The children of Israel could never be free even in their Promised Land if they were still looking to Pharaoh and Egypt for an education. Black Americans must assume the awesome task of educating ourselves that what we would learn on our own would exceed what White America knows. Do you get my drift? The only position that would satisfy educating ourselves is the first have the desire to become a sovereign people on a fertile portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders that we could worship God, pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way. No other options are workable. Likewise, the Exodus for the children of Israel was the only permanent solution to their bondage and slavery and no other options would have worked.

Is not what I am saying your leader and teacher the late Elijah Muhammad would have agreed with me based on how he felt about the so-called Negro been educated by White America.

Am I making any sense?

Tell me what you think.

Saint...there is no need for me to brag...only want to keep things "real". And no, where I went to college, there were few African American engineering student. But, that is not a point. The real point is the discipline. Science is given by God as the conduct of nature....it is up to man to learn the natural laws if he so desires....if not....then you have people that are subject to others. As simple as that. This blog is about the articulation of math applied to industry and developing a war machine that is awesome and extremely destruction but yet under control.

jamal Abraham Friday, March 25th 2011 at 10:50AM

Steve....Technology to process data faster and faster has been the drive behind solid state electronics since the industrial revolution. From robotic technology to process automation and consumer goods, we find the implementation of the Intel and Motorola microprocessor chip. In the military, it is in guidance systems to flight controls..and endless champion of processing data at very fast rates. It is this implementation which separates the United States from the most other countries and awards her the most powerful in the world.

Steve Williams Friday, March 25th 2011 at 4:24PM

Jake, there are many of your technology posts I haven't had the time to follow up on, but I am glad to see them, so keep them coming. I'm just an old rocket scientist put out to pasture.

jamal Abraham Friday, March 25th 2011 at 4:55PM

"Computers, electronics, electricity can be grinded to a complete halt by one major Electro Magnetic Weapon attack"............That is pure HOLLYWOOD....More like someone who has been watching too much television. oNLY the laymen would think such a thing because they don't know better. There are enough safeguards, that that scientist have put into system to allow back up systems to resume operation that this would never happen.

@Steve....waiting on America the most powerful to fall is no way to live your life.

Steve Williams Friday, March 25th 2011 at 5:18PM

Jamal, we need to respect others the world over. We speak of keeping America #1 but at whose expense? There is no need for such a hierarchy. the whole world should be working together for the good of all. But evil persists, and evil is punished, and we will be punished for our evil like all others before us. The solution? Become a righteous nation truly, not in the delusion we are in now. But this requires true education, which is at best an uphill battle, and at worst something that will never happen. At least while everyone is watching American Idol, and making college basketball picks. My first recommendation, as always, is to turn off the TV.

The average American scientist is light years ahead of awareness of the laymen so it does not behoove me to address the rediculous. Only that this blog speaks of the actual....that which is happening NOW>. If I had wings I could fly....but I do not have wings.....so I cannot fly.....Point is why speak of me having wings, then. American vital system has safeguards with triple redundancy and the like which exceeds the best expectations of what the unskilled mind can fathom. When it is time for America to fall from her great might, there will be no mysterious bug. No nation on earth can stand up to America so her defeat cannot come from another's war machine....But, the forces of nature like earthquakes, tornados, hurricanes, Tsunami and heavy snow is another story. These forces CAN defeat America.
