[Pictured is the Pink Palace restroom for now]
A Florida based chain, Earl's Sandwich shop will be taking one of Boston 1920's Gothic stuctures which was known as "The Pink Palace" [which was a men's restroom] and reviving it into a sandwich shop. The lavatory will become a resturant of one of the sandwich owner's take out shops. The 660 square foot building with its unique look will serve customers their famously known sub sandwiches. Only preserved for decades the building is said to create some vitality once again to the Boston Common as part of the Boston Parks Department. In addition to keeping the historic building around it's felt that visitors will equally enjoy the sandwiches while visiting the park area restoring the building to remain as part of history past. This will be location number 14 for Earl's Sandwich Shop who has a promotion of the "world's greatest sandwich"
Will there be a restroom inside? Perhaps, just for employees only. Otherwise, you'll have take that great world sandwich to go..."somewhere else to use the toilet!"
What's so ODD?
I DON'T KNOW WHY THEY ONCE CALLED IT
"THE PINK PALACE?" it's not pink at all.
"Think I'll put on some pink lipstick!"
Anyway...serve me a sandwich with chips and a pink lemonade!
I like the look of those historic buildings...
Will you like a bubble with your sandwich?
O...there you go!
"Smile at somebody today....they may smile back..I would."
