SOUTH CAROLINA--A Lexington woman has been arrested on charges of impersonating a registered nurse and illegally treating patients.
Angela Gray-Jackson, 36, of South Lake Drive, is accused of using someone else's credentials to get jobs at the Columbia Regional Care Center on Farrow Road, the Lowman Home on Fortress Drive and the Lexington/Richland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission on Colonial Drive.
According to arrest warrants, Gray-Jackson, a Caucasian woman, posed an unidentified registered nurse, an African-American. Authorities did not say how Gray-Jackson acquired the license.
In each instance, Gray-Jackson was dispatched by Florence Nursing Services, a nurse staffing agency which, according to their website, supplies “qualified, experienced nursing professionals” for temporary positions. The agency has locations in Columbia on Broad River Road, in Greenville and Florence.
A call to Florence Nursing Services for comment was not returned as of Friday night.
