Another quake shook Japan rattling measures of a 7.1 quake on Thursday, April 7th. The quake caused warnings of an expected tsuamni which was later lifted 90 minutes following the forceful aftershock. The quake knocked out powerto many homes and businessess, but there seemed to be no further damages to the most vunerable nuclear power plant. It was reported that the aftershock occured 16 miles off the eastern coast, 40 miles from Sendai and 70 miles from Fukushima. The earthquake shook Tokoyo for about a minute.
Japan still recovering from the early quake in March which caused a hugh tsuamni which totaled much of the city of Sendai and Fukushima. Today's aftershock was said to be strongest of many of thousands being experienced in the same regions.
