North Carolina was the hardest hit with fatalities and tornados with deaths of 10 people and the highest record of 62 tornados. Seven people were killed in Arkansas and Alabama. Since damaged from homes were severe many still may be unaccounted for. The large system did it's usual trot destroying and ripping away with hugh winds and funnels that sucked up constructions like tender feathers on the the ground. Many people have lost everything. In North Carolina at one point 250,000 people went without power with Raleigh, NC having more than 400,000 people left in the dark. Rescue missions are working steadily to aid victims and their families.
