Beatrice Edwards, receives a blessing Sunday from Bishop Jerry Jones of Apostolic Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ. Edwards' daughter, Mariah, has been missing since July,2010 and last week Sonny Pierce was charged in her slaying.

We have no profound proof that she is really gone," said Jones, prompting a murmur of approval from the congregation. "This is a prayer vigil, not a memorial service. We pray that her mother will have strength. We pray that she will have hope."

We hope that find Mariah alive. I just cannot imagine not knowing where my baby is.

I don't understand this because the reports or account says that there was a video in the possession of Sonny Pierce the convicted murderer of which Ms. Edwards' dgt's lifeless body was seen in the video. I really don't understand why this church isn't helping this sister deal with her grief and denial but instead enabling her to continue to deny facts. This in my opinion is a useless and futile exercise and a waste of God's time.

This mother needs to see a good psychiatrist and stop going to that church at once. I'm sure the church folk mean well, but what they are doing more harm to this greiving mother than good. How can a memorial turn into a prayer vigil? I'm really upset with this congregation and detest that fact that they have given this poor mother false hope.

My prayer this evening is that God the Holy Spirit, reverse any added harm that has been caused to this sweet sister through well meaning but unscriptual prayer efforts. Please comfort Sister Edwards in her time of loss. I thank You O' Lord for the anointing that that destroys yokes, breaks chains, and removes burdens. You said that You would be a very present help in the time of trouble so Sister Edwards needs You Lord so visit her Speedily in the Name of Jesus!! She needs your help Lord. You said in Your word that You would give beauty for ashes and the oil of joy for mourning. We trust You to do that for Sister Edwards as she grieves the lost of her dear sweet precious daughter. I thank You Sweet Holy Spirit for comforting this family and giving them peace in the midst of this storm. I speak peace to all the family and loved ones right now. The winds of peace blow over the Edward's family and overtake them so that their hearts will not be troubled because their trust is in Jesus. You stated that if we would keep our minds stayed on Thee, You would keep us in perfect peace. Keep Ms. Edwards in perfect peace today and forevermore.

Give them a home in Your Kingdom as You have given a home to their precious sweet angel Mariah because I know she has cried out to You in her last hour of need to give her a place of rest in Your Sweet Heavenly Kingdom. O' Lord In Jesus Sweet & Precious Name I have prayed. Amen!
