Electricity bills to high don't blame Deregulation (1548 hits)

I was amongst the army of people who refused to change their electricity company because I felt safe with my service provider. I did not realize that when I decided to change companies my current supplier Peco would continue to serve me when there are problems. Deregulation actually allows more competition to come into the market. For example Bell Atlantic once had a monopoly but deregulation allowed other telephone companies to compete against them. When you select a new supplier you can reduce your costs and still keep your current companies services. There are companies that are springing up around the country to offer more variety to consumers. I have uncovered a company called Ignite that is offering their electricity service and a reduction in your monthly bills in Pennsylvania, Texas, Maryland and Georgia.
