I agree with the court especially since I know that Govt. shouldn't have their hands in people's personal decisions. Truly it is up to parents to teach children, not the govt. to dictate. Free speech is important to me and I definitely see the differences when living in a place where people aren't free like in the Middle East which is the reason why they are having revolutions all over the place.

JF..My son and I were discussing this very same thing. He's of course all grown up now, but I never permitted him to play violent games. If he did so..it wasn't because I purchased them. I strongly believe parents to direct and guide their youngters. If they buy such things, they should also teach them that games are not ways to do things in reality. Morals should never be overlooked as far I'm concerned. Mom and Dads should present what violent games do so that children will learn how to intake such violence and learn from them. I feel it's necessary too!

Miisrael,

You are so right regarding parents taking responsibility for what games their children play first by NOT purchasing them. Beyond that, explain to children why such games aren't being purchased and the cause and effect of what it could do to them in the longrun.

By the way, how old is your son?
