
I have been in dialouge with a brother who has a father-in-law from Ghana. His (father-in-laws) name was Kwame. He (the father-in-law) said "The reason that our ancestors were sold into slavery was that they were problem people that the tribe needed to get rid of. This is what he (his father in law) had been told growing in Ghana. What were you told about the reason your fellow tribes people were sold into slavery? It was also said that we never put up a fight and we accepted our lot here in the Americas. What were the stories that you were told about us over here?
