The study was conducted with a group of researchers from the University of California-Berkely and found that 24 participants in the study were shown 3-D and 2-D video at various viewing distances. These participants responded to questionaires on their eye fatigue, neck, back pain and vision clarity. When the participants responded to what they experienced most were surveyed with eye strain from the distances but the findings were not drastic--but showed some significant changes in eyesight. The study overall revealed that it was less strain on the eyes when 3-D is watched in the movie theatres than on large screens home televisons of 3-D videos.
"Large screen televisons are not like being at the movies..." But in 3-D your big screen could be giving your eyes a rather straining view.!!
