Denzel Washington (#2 overall) topped the list of African-Americans on a recent Ipsos list which polled over 2,000 US adults as America's favorite and most trusted personalities, and the one whose endorsement of a company would be most likely to drive business.
Morgan Freeman is the next top African-American (#7 overall).
In a nutshell it shows that maturity in celebrities make more effective brand endorsers.

Betty White was the #1 overall personality.
Most of the 100 personalities rated in the survey come from the world of entertainment, news and sports. Elected officials were deliberately excluded from the list.
