Killing Racism – One Stereotype at a Time (2027 hits)

How do you know what a person is about unless you talk to them?

Many White people CAN dance and many Black people cannot

There are tall Japanese people everywhere

Some black basketball players would rather shoot over you, and some white players would rather dunk in your face

All Native Americans are not alcoholics

Indian men love their wives and all Muslims are not terrorists

Black men are not lazy and not all of them can jump

All Sisters are not "thick" and not all Caucasian women are “skinny white girls”

Some Asian men are well endowed and some Black men are not

White people love watermelon and black people love celery (okay maybe not celery)

All Black women are not loud and all Black men are not rough

Love IS blind, people unfortunately are not

Hate is everywhere, but it will not prevail

Human beings have used religion, politics, skin color, race and ethnicity to divide, conquer and oppress each other ever since we appeared on this planet. Protestants versus Catholics, Jews versus Christians, Whites versus Blacks, and Republican versus Democrat; the true source of conflict is the desire of one group to seize power over another.

For too many in power, oppression of others is their only strategy to achieve and maintain authority. The more oppression - the more power. More power leads to more corruption, which in turn leads to more oppression and more power.

Know the traps and pitfalls that the powerful place in front of you and avoid them or crush them. Focus on doing things that promote freedom for yourself and others. Learn the tools for success and avoid the recipes for disaster.

Love who you want to love and leave hate and prejudice out of it.

End Racism Forever

I love this post! Not everyone wants to be an advocate for change by causing discomfort in their single life for the comfort of the masses- and I understand. However, just acknowledging the ignorance and not allowing ourselves to become a "host" or a "carrier" of such foolishness is a start in stopping the cycle. Many people are opening their eyes and the view is beautiful!
